  • Great remote golf cart!
Size: +Towel Bundle Color: MGI Zip Navigator (Black)
The media could not be loaded. I owned another brand for a few years and got a LOT of use out of it. When it finally stopped working and the company folded, I decided it was time to buy a new one. I did a ton of research and landed on the Zip Navigator. I've used it now for about two years and am very pleased with it. Note: I did not buy it from the vendor listed on this page - I went directly to the manufacturer's website because I wanted the option to return it in 30 days if I wanted. Therefore, this is strictly a review on the golf cart and not buying experience. A few things about the cart: - Another reviewer mentioned something about the cart tipping easily. No way. I don't know how they're using it but it is VERY stable. Keep in mind, with any golf cart like this, you're going to have an occasional fall. However, in the year I've had it, probably only 3 times has that happened and it wasn't really the cart's fault. A couple of those times it was due to me not paying attention and having it run through a big depression/hole. The other time, again was due to me not watching it closely enough and it clipped the sidewalk and tipped. With my previous cart, tipping over happened a lot but not with this one. One spin on the golf course and you will know what I mean - it's very stable and takes a lot to tip over. - It turns on a dime. One of things I didn't like about my previous cart was that it could only take really wide turns. This one can do 360s with ease and that's with a really heavy cart bag like what I use. - Battery life is terrific. I've played 36 holes several times with it on one charge and never ran out. I just charge it each night and I'm good to go. - There are some really useful accessories that you can purchase. I added a phone holder which is huge! I also added a sand bottle that clips down by the wheel - really useful! Also, the umbrella holder comes in handy during those Florida summer downpours. I would strongly recommend all three of these accessories! They're kind of expensive, but definitely worth it. - The remote is fine but if you end up purchasing this cart, keep in mind that if you put it in your pocket or clip to your shorts (as I do) after parking it, the button will occasionally get pressed which can be disaster. The first time that happened, I parked the cart and went to the green to put. Somehow the button got pressed to start the cart and I had no idea. Meanwhile my cart started heading towards the street and luckily for me, ran into a light post which kept it from going into traffic. The good news is that there is a button you can press to disable the other buttons from working. So, when I go to put, I now ALWAYS hit that button. It took a little while to remember, but now I always do it and never have any issues with a run away cart. - One more thing about the remote... the manufacturer charges a ridiculous amount for a replacement. It almost makes me not want to buy another cart from them in the future, because it's just gouging the customer. This is a simple remote - nothing fancy. However, when my original remote stopped working (buttons started sticking), I had no choice other than to spend $180 on a replacement. The takeaway for me is to take a lot of care with the remote. I'd keep it as clean as you can to make sure it lasts as long as you can. Seems to me only a year and a half isn't enough time to get from it, but that's all I got with the first one. Hopefully the second one will last 3x that long! - Does a great job at following a straight line. My old cart would drift off line and would require me to constantly push the left or right button on the remote to get it back on line. This cart does a terrific job staying on line, even with it going over bumps and slopes. - It's fast. I've been stuck on the course before in the rain/lightening and maxed out the speed. It goes fast enough for you to job along side it. With this speed, it has plenty of power to easily tackle hills and slopes. All in all, I would highly recommend this cart (even with the remote replacement cost). I really can't think of anything I would want it to differently than it does. ... show more

  • This is by far the one of the worst product that I've purchased
Size: +Towel Bundle Color: MGI Zip Navigator (Black)
The design has some serious problems. 1) the width between two rear wheels is too narrow so the entire cart is way too unstable on any of the hills or slopes. The center of gravity is too high to begin with. It tips over all the time when traveling on a slope, especially when you are not controlling it going up or down the hill on a vertical angle to the slope. Any other angel will cause the cart to tip over. 2) the golf bag holder does not hold the bag tightly enough so the bag will also tilt towards the heavier side to cause the center of gravity to shift to one side, making it more easier to tip over. 3) the front wheel starts to bend inward to cause the entire cart to collapse after merely three month of use. I believe this is any bad design issue of the cart. 4) the reaction to some buttons (like backward button) is way to slow. This product does not worth $1500, period! ... show more

  • A $1200 DEFECTIVE PRODUCT SOLD BY AMAZON AND DELIVERED BY SHADY DISTRIBUTOR. NO RETURN ALLOWED
Size: +Towel Bundle Color: MGI Zip Navigator (Black)
This MGI ZIP Navigator Electric Golf Caddy Cart was defective on arrival. Drive has a high pitch noice which other identical units do not have. Besides, the unit was shipped with wheel caps that don't fit the wheels. It was sold as: Used - Very Good - only used one time and by a "PREMIUM BRAND", that I can't even get hold of. Amazon will not accept my return - and I can't get hold of the Seller. What a mess. I may not do business anymore with Amazon! ... show more
