I liked that there is strategy and chance to the game, that winning is not being first to finish, and that there are opportunities to reduce your score with each play. Striving for the LOWEST score seemed counter intuitive at first but given it's based on a GOLF theme, it makes sense and in a way, it feel friendlier. The score card is for 9 holes, so just like in the golf, some holes the score may be lower than others. When it arrived, 2 of us played to learn the game, expecting to go through one practice round, but the strategy drew us in and we continued to play more rounds and I'm looking forward to getting more people together to see what it's like with 6 players! ... show more

This game is so much fun!! It's really easy to learn and play. There isn't a lot of strategy involved but it's great for families or small groups, or even just two people. Some people have told me "but I don't like golf" but the game has almost nothing to do with golf besides the themed cards.

I was introduced to this game, one night at a brewery by a friend. I’ve since become addicted, they have a online app where you can play. If you don’t have connection or are around people you can play with. The game is very easy to learn and addicting to keep playing

My husband & I never played games, but I really wanted to. I found this game on Amazon and it really appealed to the golfer in him. I’m not a golfer at all, but I love it, too. The two of us play mini tournaments 2-3 times a week. Which brings me to my complaint about the game. We play so much, we wore out the cards and wanted to get a fresh replacement game. We ordered one and we were stunned they changed the whole artwork of the game! It’s more cartoonish now and not even appealing at all to play. The classic game was, well, classy and a pleasure to look at. Plus, the numbers on the cards are much more harder to distinguish. It may sound dramatic, but it was really depressing all the way around. I ended up giving the game to my sister who never had one and didn’t realize the difference. We ended up buying another new game from a different vendor who had the classic game in stock. My heart is happy again.🙂 ... show more

Played this once and had to buy the game. Fun to play and easy to learn. Uses much more strategy than it first appears. Child-appropriate and may even help with math skills. Adults will enjoy with or without the kiddos.
