These things are absolutely amazing! I wholeheartedly recommend these to anyone who has braces. They fit behind the arch wire and make it easy to floss between your teeth. It can get a little bit tight depending on your own teeth but they're usually very easy to use. I haven't had any problems with counterfeits like some people have had and I've bought a total of 18 months worth of these flossers. I even got lucky with this last purchase and got a bag that had 40 flossers instead of 30. If you're on the fence, I would say buy a couple of bags and see if you like it. If you do like them, then definitely do the "subscribe and save" option. That way you can save a little bit every time it's time to purchase more and then you also don't have to worry about running out because they'll always just arrive when you need them! I am an adult with first time braces so when I knew I needed to buy some extra supplies I jumped on Amazon. I was happy to see that these platypus flossers were affordable (in terms of braces maintenance!) and came in 3 packages of 30 so I wouldn't constantly need to re-order. I have now used my first two bags giving this review. The product is great and makes flossing between my braces a lot easier and even possible than traditional floss. I have a couple teeth that are crowded and almost facing each other, the flosser unfortunately cannot get between these teeth, I am hoping within a month or two that will change. My teeth are very crowded, so yes it takes a while to start squeezing the floss and pick in. All other spaces this flosser was able to handle in those first few weeks (even if it's with some gentle persuasion) and it has only become easier. I have not had the floss break on me yet which is a huge plus, I am going to recommend these to my boyfriend because he can never seem to keep floss in one piece! With most all of the floss picks I do have to divide the little knot on the end so it sits flat, this allows the small sided pick to slide under my wires more easily (That's probably due to my crowding), luckily my only complaint takes me an extra 10 seconds to take care of. I see these as on-the-go flossers for your backpack, but I don't know if I'll use these after my braces come off because of the amount of plastic waste. ... show more

These work very well for braces. They were recommended to us by the orthodontist - just easier than trying to thread floss. Worth the $$

Does exactly what it says it will: gets behind the arch wire. Much easier than floss threaders. I have two complaints. 1) only one side of the flosser is sized for brackets so you're using only a very small portion of the whole floss string and it wears out quickly. 2) the pick end is a hard/rigid serrated plastic saw that I find difficult to fit between teeth and, when it does, it tears up my gums. ... show more
