Features

  • [Pilot Arc Function]: BTC500DP 10th plasma cutter has the pilot arc function. It is a high frequency non-touch arc starting mode. The torch head does not need to touch the metal plate. Added PA adjustable function, extended pilot arc maintenance time, reduce energy consumption in non-cutting work, reduce electrode burning, and extend service life
  • [Digital Screen Display]: The screen centrally display parameters such as air pressure, voltage, and current, allowing users to understand the equipment status in real-time and adjust operations in a timely manner, improving operational efficiency. If plasma cutter cannot work, the screen comes with an error code system, making it easy to find out the problems
  • [Air Sensor Technology]: The air sensor built into the machine displays the air pressure on the front panel of the machine. Users can adjust the air pressure manually through the air regulator (air pressure cannot be automatically adjusted). An air filter is installed at the back of the machine, equipped with a quick-connect 1/4 NPT air connector, ready for use right out of the box. Once connected to an air compressor, the recommended air pressure should be within 70 PSI, with a flow rate of 250 liters per minute
  • [Cutting Thickness]: HF pilot arc plasma cutter boasts an automatic detection feature for input voltages of both 110V and 220V, 60% duty cycle single phase. It is recommended for cutting thicknesses up to 12mm at 35A on 110V with 50PSI, 16mm at 50A on 220V with 65PSI. The circuit breaker specifications require a 40A unit for 110V operation and a 30A unit for 220V. This versatile plasma cutter is ideal for use on materials including stainless steel, alloy steel, mild steel, copper, aluminum, etc
  • [PT/2T/4T/PA Function]: Post-flow cooling time ranging from 3 to 15s extends the torch head and consumables life. The 2T mode on the plasma cutter provides semi-automatic control torch trigger, while the 4T mode enables automatic trigger, free your finger. PA adjusted the time for the pilot arc. This bestarc plasma cutter BTC500DP 10GEN also includes a mesh cutting mode to solve the problem of arc breaking when cutting mesh

  • Great little cutter
Style: BTC500DP 7Gen 110/220
If you need to fabricate metal parts, and/or make shaped cuts in metal, a plasma cutter is the way to go. So useful in the shop. Once you use one, you’ll appreciate how well this tool works for you. This unit arrived well packaged, and shipped quick. Expected it by UPS, but it came by mail on a Saturday! Researched it well before purchase, and reviews and demos were spot on. Would recommend you do the same, as the demos of the unit’s features really show its capabilities. Easy set up, well designed interface that gets you set and cutting quickly. Cables a decent length for mobility around the workpiece Replaced a 20+ year old commercial unit damaged in a flood that cost 10X the price, and this new one blows it away with ease and speed. Plus, half the weight, so easy to move around.. So far have only cut 1/8” (3mm) material, but it went like a hot knife through “butta”! Some of the demos show it cutting thicker material very well, but haven’t needed to myself. It’s performance on my thinner material matched the demos of the same, so expect it is capable as advertised. Seems well made, but will it last 20 years? Only time will tell. So far, very happy with the purchase, met all my expectations and feel it is a very good value for the price. Really wish there was a N/A on tech support rating, as so far have not needed to use it. (A good thing!) Supplied instructions were all that were needed. I recommend you buy the consumables kit, as tips wear quickly due to the non-contact arc start up. They aren’t expensive, and the convenience and ease of the cut starts make the wear well worth it. So much better than buying cutting wheels or gas for a cut off torch, not to mention so much cleaner, quieter and safer. It does require a decent compressor (~4 cfm), and if running it on 110 vac, a 20 amp circuit to work its best, but it will work with less as long as you lower the current and cut slower, with stops to allow the compressor to refill the tank between cuts. That airflow is critical for the cuts and post cut cool down of the torch. I was able to bring it over to a buddy’s place and run the torch on a 15 amp circuit and a pancake compressor by cutting in short spurts. Not as pretty cuts, but still got the job done in decent time! Overall; a great unit. You know you want one! ... show more

  • Impressive for the price
Style: BTC500DP 10GEN 110/220
After reading reviews I pulled the trigger on this and am surprised by the value. It's a lot smaller than expected and that only fueled my doubt in its ability. But after setting it up I'm impressed by how well it works. The air check feature is nice so you know what actual usage pressure is, and the pulse and time delay options are an extra bonus. I wish the manual was more detailed. Like the air filter description, it says it has one but theres no mention of how to service it or if it separates water ( I assume it doesnt). But adding an in-line dryer is simple enough for under 10 bucks. The ground cable seems to be the weakest point, its shorter than ideal and a thinner gauge. But again thats easily modified if needed. I got the additional tip kit that comes with spacer clips and bell covers and thats a fair deal as well. So far I've only cut 3/16 and 1/4 in carbon steel and had no issues at all with it. It has a setting sticker on the case but thats only a general guide, making your own with a few test runs is a better solution, but thats the case with any machine. I also recommend adding the additional warranty but again I would do that with any machine, even expensive name brands. Overall I'm very happy with it. The cost savings over a big brand cutter is huge, and it seems built well and works perfectly on everything I've cut so far. ... show more

  • Works Great! Great Price!
I was skeptical to order this plasma cutter until I watched a couple of farmers on a YT video testing it. I took a chance and I am very happy with this purchase. I am not a heavy user and can't give a review for heavy use. I have used it about 10 times and it has worked flawlessly for me. I do have a bigger compressor and 220v in my workshop. This plasma cutter saves me a lot of time and gives my cutting wheels/drill bits a much needed break. This is a great addition to my barn workshop. ... show more

  • Not well built but cuts effectively on 220 volts.
Style: BTC650DP 7GEN 110/220
New out of the box a red plastic nut had fallen off one of the knobs. The red plastic nut would not stay threaded on the plastic threads on the air adjuster. The thin red nut then cracked. I super glued it onto the plastic threads. Now it keeps the knob from disappearing into the box. Couldn’t get the cutter to work well on 110volts. But on 220 it works well. It cuts up to 1/2 inch steel at 65 amps. It is new so I can’t comment on how long it will last but it is a very cost effective alternative. ... show more

  • Nice Plasma Cutter!!
Style: BTC650DP 7GEN 110/220
To be honest I was very skeptical of these cheap plasma cutters, but figured I’d give one a try. I ordered the 7th Gen 65 Amp Pilot Arc version which was on sale for $299. My first order was obviously dropped at the wrong address (no fault of the seller or Amazon) as it never showed up, but was obviously delivered “somewhere” by FedEx (they suck by the way) but I digress. Anyway, Amazon customer service took care of that issue and re-ordered me a replacement. Fortunately this time it showed up quickly. I’ve only used it a couple times so far, on 240 volts, and I’m very impressed with the quality, the features and the cutting ability of this plasma cutter! I can’t really compare it to name brand cutters, as I’ve never had one, but at this price point, I don’t think there’s anything that can compare to these Bestarc cutters! I also like the fact that the replacement consumables are VERY reasonable! I did purchase the optional 3 year warranty coverage for around $36 dollars just for peace of mind. I can see this cutter being a very handy tool to have in my garage! ... show more

  • Great little cheap plasma cutter
Style: BTC500DP 7Gen 110/220
The Bestarc Plasma Cutter has been a solid addition to my garage. I’ve used it to cut stainless exhaust piping, and it performed well. It’s compact and easy to handle, with a non-touch pilot arc that simplifies the process. I also appreciate the nice standard quick disconnect for the air compressor, which allows for quick setup. Running on a standard 110V outlet makes it convenient for home use. For its price, it’s a good tool, and I’m looking forward to trying it with thicker materials and running it at 240V for future projects. ... show more
