The bedframe is overall good, heavy and solid. The headboard is comfortable and rises to a good height and the slats actually screw down into the platform. It's very lovely as well and looks great. There are a few downsides, however--the corners of the bed jut out and are sharp, so you'll want to put soft foam bumpers on the corners to save yourself some impressive bruises. I cannot emphasize this point enough, those bumpers are a must. The edges of the platform also jut out a bit on either side of the bed, though this may or may not be an issue depending on your mattress setup and how often you like to ninja roll out of bed. One of the middle legs didn't screw in well and tilts to the side and the kit was missing a M8 barrel nut so I had to contact customer service on both of those issues. They were helpful and are sending replacements for both, though those haven't arrived yet. A screw on one of the center legs also broke through the rubber that touches the floor, so we plan to use the good rubber piece from the defective leg once the new one arrives to fix that. All of this happened in the first two weeks. Overall the bed seems sturdy and looks very nice, but the sharp corners are a hassle and there are some definite downsides to the design. If you're looking for a bed that's higher quality/holds more weight than the cheaper platform beds, this one will definitely work. ... show more

This bed “looks” pretty, but is not easy to put together. The materials are good quality wood, (heavy!!!!) but did come pretty damaged. Not worth the price in my opinion.

Ordered two items from this seller and am incredibly happy with both of the products! It seems hard to find quality things these days, especially furniture - this has restored my hope that you can still find good items - incredibly well built and solid wood materials (no cheap mdf). 100% would recommend.
