One of my better investments. While there are backpacks that offer rod carrying capabilities and maybe more overall storage for things for a ton of gear but for the shore fisherman that can fish all day in comfort, has easy access, holds a bunch of gear including spare reels, food and drinks...this is a great one to give a try. When buying anything I always balance the quality, ease of use and overall functionality with price. I did a lot of research and this checked the most boxes. I got the camo color. =) ... show more

I've been looking for a fishing backpack capable of securely holding 2 rods, 4 tackle boxes, hold a water bottle, looks nice, and be stable enough when sitting on the ground to not fall over. I bought two of these. One for me (khaki) and one for my son (camo). Honestly, my biggest complaint about my khaki bag is that the upper center triangular pocket is sewed on crooked. You can clearly see it in the images I posted. What's odd is that the camo bag looks perfect. I initially thought I got a one-off mistake, but as I looked at the pictures of the other khaki bags on Amazon, they also seemed crooked? Otherwise my only real complaint about the backpack is that it's not rigid enough to stand up by itself when the tackle boxes are removed. It wants to tumble forward dumping out all your gear. This can be mitigated by removing 1 tackle box at a time. The fishing rod holders work great. They snugly hold both a 2 piece rod and a collapsible rod without feeling cramped. Both rods fully rigged and ready to go. The water bottle holder will hold a 3.1" diameter 40oz bottle, but it's really tight. I do like that you can fold down the center piece of the backpack to make two main compartments. This has been helpful for carrying a spare reel. Overall, my biggest complaint is cosmetic and it's not a problem on all the bags. As such, I'm going to give these a solid 4 stars. ... show more

Nice fishing tackle backpack. Fits well and is adjustable to ensure a comfortable fit. I like the little pocket that acts as a little table. I really works. I am able to get ample supplies in the compartments. The sunglasses compartment is rigid and protects your glasses. This is a great fishing backpack. I’m big on organization and this bag has a spot for all my gear. I seen a very similar bag at bass pro but they only offer one color. This bag you can make it more personalized. I didn’t use any of the tackle boxes it comes with because they seem cheap and I already had nice ones. And if id add anything I’d like this bag to have a lower body strap as well because it only has the chest strap. ... show more

like the bag so far, The one thing I would state is that there are no D rings anywhere on the bag which would be nice for attaching lanyards and other things to. This would seem to be an oversighjt for the developers
