I put one of these in my dash of my 2011 f150. Works well! Really brings the sound out. I did rewire all my speakers in the truck with an amp so I am not using the factory wiring. Speaker sounds aweosme though!

    • Lost in the stage
These are basically your only option if you can't go below this level RMS in this size. They are fine on their own, but in a stage of any size larger speakers, their contribution isn't worth it. At this RMS, I suppose I expected them to be much louder than they are. Their sensitivity may be too low compared to the 6.5s nearby, or this smaller size speaker just isn't all worthwhile after all. They are expensive for something that can't really even be heard. Midbass performance is missing, there's really no punch of any sort. High level is great. Sound quality is high. 100% Pioneer quality, so it's hard to be dissatisfied. ... show more

Speaker blew 10 minutes after install, 2 days later the other speaker crackled and blew. Only had 100 watts running it.

They fit well in my 2020 Rav4 Limited Hybrid. They are very clear with heavy beats... by far louder than the JBL stock speakers that came with the vehicle.
