Sound quality is amazing

  • Great headphones for djing!
These headphones are for djing! Do not buy them for music production, I've already seen people do this and use them for home listening. Really, they're loud, for a reason, when you're at the club you need to hear the floor, which these headphones perfectly do, they make it very easy to mix, due to them being very loud. Very nice swivel on the ear piece, so I can use one ear without damaging them, very comfy, comes with an adapter, carrying case is light but not the best "case" its literally a bag, but it serves its purpose. For $100, i do think these are worth it for djing, for studio production, go get some near field speakers from pioneer, cause you won't have luck with dj headphones, because their built for the dj atmosphere instead of the home listening bassy environment, therefore I think they are great, buy them if you are on a budget, cause they serve their purpose. ... show more

  • Good price, wife
Sound quality is amazing, haven’t had any breaks w the headphones yet like others but two issues I have is the cord length is a little too short for my liking, and there is some kind of issue when I plug it into the headphones where sometimes it will only play out of one side until I jiggle it around. Otherwise for price it’s good headphones, very loud, relatively easy to pick out the lows highs and mids when you mess around w your set up. ... show more

  • Two pairs each broke quickly... typical plastic breakage - Pioneer's achilles heel
We'll see if they handle the test of time. I wanted a less-expensive version of Pioneer Headphones since they all invariably break in 2-4 years' time. Why spend $300 when you can spend $100? Well these definitely feel cheaper. Sound quality is good - not AS good as their top shelf models, but good. They just feel like they won't be as durable. But again, if these last 2 years, compared to the $300 model lasting 2-4 years, then I'm ahead of the game. What we finally need are fully metal-framed headphones. Pioneer please! *Update* After 14-15 months of use as professional DJ, roughly 3-4 gigs per week, they have finally cracked, and on BOTH joints. I glued and taped them and they gave me another month or 2, but that's a wrap, they're now in the trash. I will be seeking out headphones made only of metal and truly unbreakable, regardless of price. *Update* Bought a 2nd pair to replace the above pair... this pair lasted 6 months... BOTH left and right hinges broke, separately. ... show more

  • Interesting but very good DJ Headphones
Interesting because the sound is very different but it is indeed the wider frequency range which after using them for awhile now, they're quite nice. The comfort is definitely there and they swivel for one-ear monitoring and now my neck doesn't hurt as bad. Great Pioneer DJ headphones and they work great with my Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX10! ... show more
