  • Very good scope for the money.
I currently have this scope mounted on a Ruger American Rimfire in .22LR. At 50 yards, I'm practically stacking the shots on top of each other, so it holds zero very well on a .22. Resettable turrets are nice, and being able to make adjustments without messing up zero is awesome. However I will say this, at least on my scope, the turret markings don't always line up with the clicks. For example, I adjusted 24 clicks up, which should put me at 6 MOA. However, it was only to 5.5 MOA. You can see as you turn the knob that the adjustment will sometimes rest in between values on the turret, and it became obvious to me that it would not adjust correctly with respect to the actual click values. By the way, the scope click values are clearly listed as 1/4 MOA on the turrets, not the 1/2 MOA shown in the pictures. As far as the MRAD reticle, 1 Mil at 50 yards is approximately 1.75 inches. So I tested this with a strip of tape whose edge was 1.75 inches away from the edge of the paper on a target 50 yards away, and they lined up perfectly. So I can confirm that mil-dots are truly 1 Mil apart at the 9x magnification setting. In the scope of things, the turret issue isn't that big of a deal. If you just rely on click values like I did to test the turrets in the first place, you don't even need to use them. However they are a HUGE help in returning to original zero after adjusting. Even though the intermittent adjustments to the scope will be off, as long as you align the zero mark with the line up point when resetting the turret, the zero will always line up when returned back. You could technically remove that issue entirely and just use the mil-dot reticle to do holdovers. Illumination is good, while 3 colors seem a little unnecessary to me personally, it is very useful in lowlight and dusk scenarios. Adjustable objective is stiff, but not too stiff. Just the right amount of torque required to turn it if you ask me. Also, for the folks wondering about how to attach the sunshade, you have to remove the small ring in the end of the objective lens first, then screw in the sunshade in its place. You can then put the protective ring on the other end of the sun shade, this is why the sunshade is threaded on both ends. Overall, I don't see how you could do better for the price point. The only issue I could find with it was the turret markings being misaligned with the actually click values. Seems to be very robustly built, and the light transmission is excellent for a 1" tube. The rings that come with it are a mile too high for a bolt action however. If you have a flat top receiver such as and AR pattern rifle, those would probably work fine. Pinty gets an A from me with this one. ... show more

  • Non functional rite out of Amazon box
Non functional rite out of the box . Don't understand why a company would send a broke scope out for sale . Battery was not included as it said it was . Up and down turret perfect clicks and sound. Left to right turret no sound or clicks . Turns like turning a water spicket on and off for your water hose . I am in disbelief that a company would even put a scope in a box like this . Let alone sell and ship it to a customer. I'd wished there was 1 scope manufacturer out there that would believe in there product so faithfully that would send me a scope for a 100% honest customer review. And if it passed a honest review I would gladly pay the purchase price for there scope if it passed the review test. Because quite frankly I am tired of putting my $ out there to receive bad products from these manufacturers. Then having to send products back and them holding my $ up and having to put out more $ to receive another disfunctional product from another manufacturer. And I did make a video of it which for some reason it will not upload on here. Tried to upload several Times. Maybe it's because they don't want bad videos uploaded on there products for the whole world to see. Will update on responses from either manufacturer or Amazon or both. But always have had positive experiences with Amazon on any problems from any product ever purchased from them and wouldn't expect any different from Amazon on this product either . Manufacturers not so lucky as Amazon's customer service. Update Received a replacement. Again broke rite out of the box . Box was damaged that it came in . Opened up and looked thru the eyepiece and reticle is way off center to the right side of the scope . The fat part of the reticle can't even be seen . This is completely unacceptable and ridiculous. I've never in my life seen such junk made and packaged to be sent to a customer. Completely unacceptable. This one will be going back to . Nice job pinty . I'm done with your junk. Update Called # they give for company rep. No answer Left a message. Rep noticed a missed call without listening to voice mail I would assume because she called back saying I'm sorry I see I missed your call. Apparently she thought it was a sale call because when I started to complain about receiving 2 nonfunctional broke scopes rite out of the box the phone went dead. She hung up on me . And never called back . So I called and left her another not so nice voice message telling her I would be in contact with her superiors about the way she treats paying customers. So I sent 2 emails to the company. With no reply by phone or email. Way to go pinty / Banyon imports . Thanks for your very kind customer support. I will be leaving you a really nice review on Amazon and every social media network and rifle and gun forum that I can possibly post one on for your excellent product and customer support. Good luck with your company sales and profits in the future. Your company is a disgrace to this country. You definitely will never get any business from me as long as I'm alive. Or from anyone else I can relay the message to about your products and support team. But I will say thank you Amazon for the replacement and for a full refund for the garbage that Banyon imports / pinty products that they produce and sell. 5 stars as usual for Amazon. Again thank you Amazon for your superior customer support. ... show more

  • Pleasantly surprised.
Ordered this Pinty scope for my airsoft sniping kit. The glass is surprisingly clear, but the light up reticle options seem basically useless. Another thing to point out about them is that they can be seen from the target end of the scope. Thankfully, that’s not why I bought the scope. I wanted a scope that had all the proper adjustments and didn’t require the removal of a cap for adjustments in the field, and of course I wanted a sunshade. :) For myself the scope rings that come with are a little high, so I would recommend getting something slightly lower profile. All in all, a good scope for dirt cheap. I wouldn’t go putting it on a high power rifle, but for a 22 or 17 HMR this would be a decent pick. I’ll be using it for airsoft in which case it will be banged on and beat up and probably at some point submersed in who knows what. We’ll see how it does! I’ve also yet to test the light gathering which I don’t expect to be amazing. If I remember to, I will come back and edit my review after I’ve had the scope for a little longer. ... show more
