The media could not be loaded. I was having some difficulty at first but once I aligned two of the corners and pushed down I heard a click and the rest was history!! Make sure to bend the tabs as stated in the directions, align one or two of the corners for each back and front attachment and listen for the clicks! The one thing I will say is they do stack but not the greatest nonetheless will work for what I need and price is good. I will buy more for me and the rest of the fam. **Update** 3/1/2024- I have purchased this a third time.     • Extremely poor durability

Easy to put together once you get the hang of it, none the less, I took my time to make sure everything was perfect because the durability seemed suspect. My wife and I carefully started loading shoes and before we finished one stack collapsed. I then noticed the second stack had a back coming off which collapses the box and in quick turn the entire stack. I would guess the lifespan of these things with my children using them would be milliseconds. The front and back are held in with essentially a tab that folds over the make the box thicker and create a wedge to hold the front and back to the box. Any pressure will separate them and everything collapses. They have a lot of different models that are very similar and I can't imagine they are much better. ... show more

My husband wears a size 13. Between dress shoes and gym shoes needless to say these organizers were NEEDED. They are easy to assemble however I did use a little crazy glue along the edges to ensure they stay put. The shoes fit all the way and the door closes completely. I was going to come on here & leave a 1 star review but then I noticed the installation/setup video & it became very clear why so many folks are leaving 1 star reviews & others are leaving 5 star reviews. The included instructions leave a lot to the imagination - you are required to fold the box completely in the opposite direction from the way it is shipped in order to make the structure sturdy. Then you need to fold all of the flaps before attempting to put the ends on. It is only after you do all of the folding that everything will "snap" in place. Without folding sufficiently, it's like trying to stick a rubber-band on a balloon. After everything is snapped together, it will easily stack & hold your sneakers (i'm a size 11 mens) although your high-top sneakers will have to go in sideways. The top of the box isn't glass & isn't strong enough to hold anything more than 3-5 lbs, but you can get away with sticking a display book/box/bearbrick/Kaws Companion on top. Enjoy! ... show more
