The media could not be loaded. First off, ignore the dirty shoes. Now on to the actual product. It took about 1 hour to assemble. Not the best quality and honestly feels and looks kind of cheap but is super light and easy to move around. Fit a good amount of shoes mainly because a lot of these shoes are flats and sandals. This product is lightweight. Good looking design. Does its job of housing shoes properly. The one I got is for shoes sneakers sandals slippers. No boots unless they are ankle-like. This thing is so much cheaper and hold more shoes in it. Easy to install. Only thing is the doors my flap open a little but just push it in and it works perfect.     • Conundrum between assembly and functionality

I'm stuck between horrible to assemble (1 star) , and liking the finished product (4 stars), so it get's 3. Assembly: - Comes with extra pieces, because you'll need them when the connectors break (several of them). Inevitably it will be on a lower level than the one you're working on, or in the middle and a pain in the butt to replace the broken connector and get it to "snap in," so expect some re-work and frustration. When I say broken I mean just that, the plastic is brittle and will literally snap and fly off. - You will soon come to the realization that you will never get all of the corners or sides of every connector snapped in, so you get as many as possible (still sturdy enough). Be advised this is not engineered to exacting tolerances. Once you get it together: Fits a lot of shoes, and I like that the front covers close (can fit 2 pairs in each cubicle if your shoe size is small-medium (up to mens 9 1/2-10 size). If you have big feet expect only one pair to fit per cubicle The closing "flip up" covers make the garage look cleaner than just having a bunch of open show racks. End of the day, pain in the butt to put together (think tinker toy but with connectors that break), but the conundrums that I like the finished product and the price is reasonable Hopefully no one will ever walk into this (not sturdy), cuz I'll cry and be looking for where I put those extra connectors, but it does the job of un-clustering my garage. ... show more

This is exactly what my closet needed! I love that it covers the shoes with the lid. It helps cause I wanted to stack multiple shoes in one square and with the lid it doesn't look cluttered. Easy to put together. Definitely love it.

Update: the company got back to me and sent out a bunch of new bilateral buckles. I think the original ones I received were defective, as none of the replacement ones snapped or broke. I bought this shoe rack and the package arrived quickly and well protected. While assembling, 11 of the 24 "bilateral buckles" snapped in half or thirds. I put together as much as I could, because I do actually like the shelf, other than the cheapness of the plastic used. I've emailed the company asking for replacement parts, and I will update my review if they reply. If not, I may just 3D print the parts I need. Buyer beware, if you don't have those 3D printing capabilities. These parts are necessary for the shelves in each cubby. ... show more
