So I ordered this after seeing all the 3k+ positive reviews. After looking at Ping and Taylor Made and Odyssey for $150-$250 for one putter I couldn't pass up trying a putter for $40. WORTH every single penny, I love the balance of the putter. Its pendulum-weight action works wonderfully. The ability to pick up the ball at the bottom of the putter was a total surprise and a super cool extra. It comes with a quality cover. And moving from a blade-style putter to this was such a nice upgrade in style. Plus if I get annoyed at myself for not reading the green correctly and I launch my putter into the woods, well then not a huge loss. LOL ... show more

My ancient Ping Pal putter separated recently, so i began the search for a new putter. After seeing several reviews, I landed on the Pinemeadow PGX and quickly placed an order. I'm quite impressed with this putter with it's solid feel. Overall, the construction seems first rate compared to others costing more that I tried in a store, however one key difference here is the painted finish and non-milled face. After one round, there are a few dings here and there, but you have to remember how much you actually paid for it. One additional feature that I like is the cavity on the bottom for picking up balls, which is great during practice. I would also prefer a milled clubface with natural metal showing, however this one functions very well at this level. The aiming system is also very intuitive and a marked improvement after years of using a blade style putter and preferable to me over the "two ball" style alignment system. I would give it 5 stars, especially at this price but the finish is more fragile than it should be, but it's still the nicest looking club in my bag and I knew this weakness going into the purchase. I’m new to the game. I had some Ping Eye 2 red dot irons that I bought a while back and never used, but I had no other clubs. I bought used drivers and hybrids, but I couldn’t find a used putter to complete my set. This is the first one that popped up on Amazon and I figured I couldn’t go wrong for such a low price. This putter is great. My instructor and several golfers commented on it’s attractive finish (which isn’t perfect but it’s $40) and the long black line on the top of the head really helps me get my putter face square and my body aligned. Ball feels good off the strike and I love the weight and feel. The grip is more than adequate...feels really nice and soft in the hand. All in all a phenominal deal. I was picking up a set of Pinemeadow irons and figured I would round out the set with a putter of the same brand to keep the feel of the clubs consistent. For $36 I was impressed as hell when this putter came in the mail. The weight is very well balanced, the finish is nice and bright (no problems lining up my putt), and it came with a nice cover to boot. I set up my little putt putt course in my basement and was having a wonderful time getting a feel for the club, I was getting consistent putts as long as I was paying attention to my swing and I couldn't be happier with my purchase! I'm by no means a pro or even a weekend warrior of the golfing world and this putter fits my needs perfectly. I can't wait to try out the rest of the irons when the get here! If you have any doubts about this club forget about them, if this was sold in pro shops I think the $250.00+ clubs would be relegated to the discount rack. TLDR- If you are on a budget and need a putter this will do the job Included in box- The putter was wrapped in a plastic sleeve and put in the box, no frills Materials/ build quality- The grip is pretty standard, has enough grip and seems to last. The shaft is chrome and has no real issues. The putter head is where it feels cheap, it feels and sounds hollow which can surprisingly throw you off your game, the face plate of the putter seems to be loosely glued on and could potentially fall off and render the club useless. The club as a whole seems to be top heavy, meaning the head is so light it feels like you are just swinging a grip and a shaft. Functionality- This putter functions as it should/ as the price permits Good- The color scheme is very attractive, guide lines are very clear and accurate Bad- The hollow feeling is a big negative for me, also the face plate could be an issue Recommendation- I would suggest waiting and buying a higher quality club unless you absolutely need a putter quick and on the cheap ... show more
