I had some old throw pillows around the house that I stuffed inside that case to use these as a Christmas gift for my daughter. I was a little surprised at the fabric. It is a rough fabric, not smooth and soft. I try to decorate in a more sophistocated decor while expressing my inner geek so these pillow covers allow me to show off my love for Star Wars and my elegant lifestyle at the same time! I got three of these, one in each Star Wars style, for my living room decor. It is super cute and the fabric isn't rough at all, even though it's a canvas type of material. It's able to fit a standard sofa pillow or a soft bed pillow (that's what I used) and it washes easily. I just take it off the pillow and throw it in the wash (reverse it to ensure the color & transfer stays) with the rest of my laundry.
