These pillow inserts are very nice. The are full and medium firm. I read the reviews of other inserts and the main complaint was they were too flat. Not a problem with these. They fill the decorative pillow covers completely giving them nice form and plushness. They will be switched out into different covers as the seasons change. I have seasonal throw pillows on the sofas throughout my home and these fit my cases (sold separately) perfectly. They come vacuum packed but fluff out quickly and nicely with just a good shake and some time. I chose to go with a size smaller than suggested as I didn't want the pillow to be too stiff and it worked out perfectly. These are very nice throw pillow inserts, they're nice and plump. they come vacuum sealed and pretty flat, I would suggest putting them in the covers before fluffing them up either by hand or by placing in the dryer. It's much easier to get them in when flat!
