This is some really nice rope. This in particular, is 8mm. Personally, I think this is a great size to use, for multiple purposes. It is extremely strong, while being lightweight. You can pack a lot more of it, without sacrificing too much space. I have recently received a length of rope, about half as long. It seems to be the exact same quality. Even though, this rope is about half the price. This rope is offered and several lengths, all for a great price. I have a lot of 50 ft ropes, but I have been looking for a hundred foot, or so, for a while. I needed some 8 mm rope for tree climbing and was looking for 80-100 ft so this 96-ft length fit the bill. This is a nice weight (not too heavy for when I pack it in), it seems sturdy, and the green color is bright enough to see. The ends are properly taped and sealed. So far, I tested it with a few knots and strung it off a second floor deck. Held my 150 lb weight fine. I haven’t used it in a high-abrasive situation yet, but if it frays I will report back. ... show more

Got this for my climbing gear. This accessory cord is true to diameter and length. Both ends are melted, taped and marked. No abnormalities in the length of cord I received, and I have no concerns using it for climbing, like I would with any of my other 8mm cord.

This is some pretty nice cord! The woven material looks really nice with a very tight clean braid. The color is bright and will be very visible outdoors. Both ends are firmly taped and melted, so from the factory it will stay together well. You can obviously cut it shorter, just melt it after.
