Color: Dark Brown
I bought this chair back in March. I had to have surgery and needed some thing that was gonna make life easy for me and recovery received it. It was very easy to put together. It did come and I wanna say three or four boxes, but it was very easy to put together. I must say I absolutely love it. The fabric is super soft. It literally does everything. It says it will take you from laying down position all the way to fully standing up in your living room or your bedroom wherever you decide to put it the massaging option that it has is absolutely wonderful. There are so many different settings to choose from and the heating is perfect for those cold nights if you have you know achy back? It works great. I would definitely suggest this to anyone who has had like back issues or you know going through surgery. It makes life so much easier. It’s great for the elderly and anybody that’s disabled. I mean buy it. It’s wonderful ... show more

  • Great chair for great price
Color: Dark Brown
This chair was purchased in advance and was ideal following abdominal surgeries, allowing slow and gentle lifting and lowering. It's comfortable enough to sleep in while recuperating, as well as napping. The warming and massaging features are nice, it was easy to assemble, worked perfectly out of the box, and is still working perfectly today. The gray color is attractive and the material and padding are soft and comfortable. A standard recliner chair cover, also in gray makes for a nice addition to living room furniture. At 5ft 7in, my feet hang off end at back of ankles and I sometimes use a pillow to prop them up. Otherwise very roomy for either my husband 6ft 3in or me. I can't imagine being without this chair and believe it is a great deal for the price. Highly recommended and so glad I bought it. ... show more

  • wonderful for the price
Color: Dark Brown
first of all I should start by saying I've never been a fan of recliners -- I think for the most part they're too big and quite unattractive, so I would never have considered buying one but for the fact that I will be having OHS end of the month and everyone who has had this surgery has said that recliners, particularly the ones that help you stand up, are an absolute must.... who am I to argue with the tried and true in this situation? re the chair-- assembly was incredibly easy & fantastic that no tools required, so that gets 5 stars and 2 thumbs up. the chair is quite comfortable for the most part and since I'm a smaller person (5'3 1/2", 142 lb), the smaller size of this is a benefit - my only complaint in this area is that as the chair is starting to be reclined, the neck/back remains solid or upright such that you have to recline more than I would like to get to a comfortable neck position for me. as I said, I've gotten this chair because of my impending surgery which will include sleeping in the recliner for some period of time. since I'm short, it's an ok fit - my feet just hang over but that's all. if you're taller than this and using for the same purpose, this could be problematic and you might want to look for one a bit bigger. however, if this is going to be your watch tv, read a book, knit, etc I think this would be fine. this chair also has a heat and massage feature that works via a hand held remote. none of these are particularly worth recommending and having tried them out, I'm guessing that will be it. the recliner features are 2 buttons on one side of the chair separated by a USB port. love the USB but wish the buttons were also on the hand held remote - this might just be a personal preference. a note on the help you out of the chair feature -- works very well and does not go too fast as I've learned from others who have recliners with this feature that that can be a problem. all in all, for what it is and for the price, I would certainly recommend this recliner. ... show more

  • Works for a Plus Size Person
Other recliners in the $100 range seemed like a great deal for the price, but when looking at the dimensions, they were probably suited better for a teenager or small adult. We're plus size folks and this is perfect. My husband was able to put it together without a problem, and the recliner and lift features work well. You have to be a patient person, though, it is slow and safe. The heat also works well. The only con is the massage. This is less like the spa chair massager and more like a vibration up and down your back. Still nice and relaxing. Overall, well worth the $300. ... show more

  • Amazing chair
Color: Dark Brown
Got it for my dad who is almost completely immobile. He loves it and so does everyone at the place where he lives. It's easy to get him in and out of it and it's comfortable to sit in when he's not using it, which is hardly ever any more. I highly recommend this power lift chair.

  • Good but not great
We ordered 2 of these to replace a sectional couch so we would have more room in our living room. Both chairs had some minor damage to the plugs that are needed to hook up all the chair features. Had to get pliers to try and squeeze the crushed rca type plug back into round so it was usable. This combined with them not being zero clearance, we ended up returning them. They need about a foot and a half or more of wall clearance for them to recline. Our goal was more space so this didn't fit the bill. If you don't put them against a wall then it won't matter. Other than this and the damage they were fine and quick to assemble. ... show more
