UPDATE 2024 JULY hands down the most sturdy, well made piece of furniture in my home. The bottoms of the drawers don't fall out like cheap furniture, never have. It's heavy, sturdy, and still gorgeous, we've moved a few times with it and it's held up. It's worth the money, a rare "buy it for life" item 2014: The dresser was packaged like it was ready to survive the apocalypse and completely assembled save the knobs which were easy to screw in. The dresser came fully assembled except I had to put the knobs on the drawers, which was very easy (the knobs are attached inside-out to the drawers for shipping). Color looks great. My only complaint are the drawers. The drawers are poorly constructed but this seems to be the norm for most dressers I looked at in stores; 1) the drawers are brad nailed rather than tongue and groove, 2) they don't slide easily (maybe a little grease will fix), and 3) the bottom is thin with reinforcements in the corners. I attached pictures for reference. Overall I think it's a great price for the quality compared to what I found in box stores and furniture stores. ... show more

I love this dresser! I bought two to replace our old ones and they are larger and much nicer. I am so happy with this purchase. They are also extremely heavy, the package weighed 173lbs. So you will need help carrying it. We slid it up carpeted steps and down the hall to our bedroom. These matched perfectly with our Phoenix bookcase bedframe in cappuccino. I would say all this furniture is built for giants, it dwarfs my already short stature. But very worth it. ... show more

It comes nearly fully assembled and ready to move. you have to install the drawer pulls, that's it. The only draw(er) back is the drawers don't come out (at least we couldn't figure out how) so moving it was a little more of a challenge. But it's so very nice! We purchase the matching end table and bed. My wife and I finally feel like grown-ups with such a nice bedroom set! ... show more

To be fair the delivery guys who carried the box up the stairs screwed up by putting too much pressure on one corner causing the leg to snap. But honestly, for the price, I was expecting a lot more wood and a lot less particle board, especially where it matters the most on the support legs! It is a very beautiful dresser but far too much particle board is fragile on the weak legs. ... show more

Has not lasted through the years. The track components began warping and breaking easily after the first year. On the plus side it was very easy to assemble.
