I am very pleased with my new Phillips Sonicare 6100. It does a good job on my aging teeth. The only recommendation I would suggest is that there be a choice between regular and soft brush heads. Never tried one of these before. Takes a little getting use to but the learning curve is small. I'm amazed how smooth and clean my teeth feel after using it. I use my regular toothbrush first and then this and I can easily tell that it makes a difference. Almost like my teeth are polished. Has a two minute timer that I really like along with a tattletale for using too much pressure. I'm really enjoying it. Purchased a couple spare heads along with it because I travel. I love Sonicare toothbrushes. I had a lower level model for about 4 years before it stopped working, so I got to replace it with this cutie pink one. When I say it works EVEN BETTER than my last one I’m not lying. I appreciate the 30 second reminders to change quadrants and I like the head replacement reminder. This is the best electric toothbrush I have ever had. Sure, it is a little pricey, and it does a great job of cleaning and whitening your teeth. We also travel with it and it will keep a charge for a week with two, two a day brushers. Sonicare is the best.

I bought this toothbrush back in late 2018 and had no issues until the lithium ion battery went out in July 2024, which is much longer than they generally last. I contacted Philips customer service just to see if anything could be done before spending over $100 on a new toothbrush. My warranty had expired almost 4 years ago, but surprisingly they still offered to send a new toothbrush handle and charger for free. Overall, a really great toothbrush and the brush heads help with getting my wisdom teeth - I can tell a huge difference when I use a regular toothbrush while traveling. In my research, I read that sonicare had a better track record of removing plaque from below the gum line, thus allowing for better gum health..
