  • Hygiene on th go
Color: Shadow Black Configuration: Rechargeable
First things first, let's talk about the design. The Shadow Black color is sleek and sophisticated, and it adds a touch of modernity to my bathroom countertop. The toothbrush itself has a comfortable grip, making it easy to hold and maneuver while brushing. The design is user-friendly and straightforward, which is perfect for someone like me who prefers simplicity in their gadgets. One of the standout features of the PHILIPS One toothbrush is its sonic technology. I must admit that I didn't fully understand the science behind sonic toothbrushes before, but this one has made me a believer. The high-frequency vibrations deliver an effective cleaning action, gently but thoroughly removing plaque and debris from my teeth and gums. It feels like a professional dental cleaning every time I use it, leaving my mouth feeling fresh and clean. The toothbrush has a two-minute timer with 30-second intervals, which has been a game-changer for me. I used to rush through my brushing routine, but now I make sure to spend the recommended two minutes, evenly dividing my time among all quadrants of my mouth. This has greatly improved my brushing technique, and I can feel the difference in how clean my teeth are after each use. Another feature I appreciate is the rechargeable battery. It's convenient and eco-friendly, as it eliminates the need for disposable batteries. A single full charge lasts for weeks, which means I don't have to worry about it dying on me mid-brush. It's a small detail, but it adds to the overall convenience of this toothbrush. Maintaining good oral hygiene is not just about brushing but also about replacing the brush heads regularly. The PHILIPS One toothbrush has a handy reminder system that alerts me when it's time to change the brush head. This ensures that I'm always using an effective and hygienic brush head, which is something I used to overlook in the past. Cleaning the toothbrush itself is a breeze. The brush head is easily removable for rinsing, and the handle can be wiped clean effortlessly. This simplicity in maintenance suits me perfectly, as I prefer hassle-free solutions in my daily routine. I also appreciate the availability of replacement brush heads. PHILIPS provides a variety of options, including sensitive and whitening brush heads, allowing me to customize my brushing experience to my specific needs. In conclusion, the PHILIPS One by Sonicare Rechargeable Toothbrush has exceeded my expectations. It's user-friendly, efficient, and has elevated my oral hygiene routine to a whole new level. While it may seem like a small upgrade, the benefits it brings to my overall oral health are undeniable. As someone with average intelligence, I can confidently say that this toothbrush is a smart choice for anyone looking to improve their dental care routine. ... show more

  • Sonicare without the bulk!
Color: Midnight Navy Blue Configuration: Battery
I decided to get a Sonicare because my dental hygienist really pushed for me to get one. I have owned these in the past but I really disliked the bulk of the toothbrush and it hasnt seemed to get much smaller over the years. I know this one is meant to be a travel brush, but it just works so well, I use it daily. Its overall size is obviously great for travel, but I just love it overall as general use! Its lighter and smaller! Functionally I dont feel any difference between this and the hero products. So far its been a couple months and I am still on the battery it came with, which brings up one negative, this verson is not rechargable, so you will be throwing out batteries, but at this rate you might only need to change them every six months! ... show more

  • A decent travel option
Color: Midnight Navy Blue Configuration: Battery
I have used Philips Sonicare products for 20+ years and have never had a cavity. That being said, Sonicare products are expensive and sensitive to being dropped and even changing/removing brushheads frequently (while traveling) can decrease their useful lives. Because I now own the DiamondClean for home use and it costs about $200, I don't want to take it with me anywhere and break it. I have tried other electric toothbrushes like M-Teeth and Fairywill, but those are terrible and actually have worse results than just using a regular $2 toothbrush. The best option I found for travel was the very heavy and loud (but inexpensive) Spinbrush Pro, which is merely OK and has no travel case but costs only $5. Now, I believe that this Sonicare One is a decent travel option because it actually does vibrate sonically (different than mechanical brushing like the competitors). Its power is slightly less than the lowest (Sensitive) setting on the DiamondClean. It doesn't feel powerful and the cleaning was about 75-80% as good as the DiamondClean and way better than manual brushing while remaining about the same size as a regular toothbrush as well as being better, quieter and lighter than the Spinbrush Pro. I think Sonicare One is priced right and that this would also be a good choice for children or as a gift for an entry-level sonic cleaning toothbrush. ... show more

  • Fine toothbrush with a useless travel case (edit: until the battery seemingly bricks)
Color: Snow Configuration: Rechargeable
I had a quip toothbrush for a year or two after my plug-in Philips Sonicare died on me, and found the battery-replacing to be annoying. Of course, eventually the motor stopped working on that quip, so I opted for a rechargeable Sonicare brush, reentering the world of Philips. And it was great! Or, fine! As long as you don't intend to use the included case, I mean. Right out of the box, you have your basic toothbrush needs—the toothbrush head which seems a bit smaller than preferred but works all the same; the battery/body, a perfect handheld size; the utterly useless case, whose lid refuses to remain closed no matter what; and a USB-C to USB cord. While I ran into occasional issues charging the battery (not all USB-C cables seem to play well), I think I got over that hurdle. The aforementioned case is the drawback. Under no conditions will the lid of your case stay closed, which pretty quickly took this out of the running for travel brushes. Beyond that, it tackles the same needs as quip or other lower-movement (basically just vibrating) rechargeable electric toothbrushes, with what seems to be a higher success rate so far in terms of maintaining a charge. If only that lid would stay closed. Edit: This review was originally two stars due to an issue I had with the device's battery. I assumed I was doing something wrong though, so I rewrote and rerated four stars once the battery seemed to hold a charge again. I'm back to a non-working battery that most often does not charge—and the power button now seems non-functioning. Maybe my brush is just a one-off, but this seems like a defective product after all, so I have to revert back to two stars. It was nice when it worked, but the majority of my time with it, it has not worked. ... show more
