Well, 3 days later and we’re completely off bottles using the cups! They’re easy to clean and don’t leak at all unless the nipple is squeezed. UPDATE: After about a month, both nipples leak terribly. They rip very easy, so my toddler was able to bite a hole in one. The other one just started leaking a few days ago, even though there’s no hole. We’ve switched to a different sippy. These cups are great, but the nipples on top are very soft. If you hold the cup upside down and press on them, they will leak. If your toddler is like mine and has made it their life mission to try to put water everywhere, you might want to get different cups. We still use these cups though, just with supervision. Never had any issues going from baby bottle to these. 1yr old drinks water from a Simple Modern bottle with a straw so I can’t really speak on the ‘no spill’ claim since she’s not carrying the Phillips avent around or in situations where it could potentially spill.
