  • Its good but be warned...

I got this sanitizer at my baby shower. At first I was really excited about it. I loved how compact it is, very simple to store on the kitchen counter without it taking up too much space. But as a lot of other reviews have stated it rusts very quickly! I was ready to throw it away and buy one of the microwave sanitizers but I decided to check here and read reviews first. The rust is very simple to remove! Take 2.5 onces ofvinegar or even apple cider vinegar and 0.5 ounces of water, let it sit for 30 minutes then wipe clean. Its good as new! ... show more

I bought in order to be in compliance with a milk donation program, I followed all sanitation guidelines but still came back with higher than optimal bacteria levels. I returned this sanitizer and went to the stove top boiling method without changing anything else about my set up and had much lower bacteria levels. Making me think that this device wasn't doing what it claimed. Also, I didn't realize it until I used it, but this device does not dry bottles which is a bit disappointing. In my opinion, it's worth spending a little more on a sterilizer that also dries for just stick to the old fashioned method. ... show more

  • Use for breast pump parts, pacifiers as well as bottles
Style: Advanced
Pros: Only 4 pieces (see pictures) One button Easy to put together (seriously brainless) Easy to fill Works for many items other than bottles (pacifiers, breast pump parts, small plastic toys) Quick! Cons: Doesn't dry parts Takes up a lot of counter space (see picture with 8 oz glass bottle as size reference) I love having a sterilizer to use instead of boiling bottle and pump parts! We use this to clean all my Medela breast pump parts, pacifiers, small plastic toys, and of course Philips Avent bottles (the 8 oz glass bottles specifically). I love how quickly it works - I just put in the water, put the pieces together, and press ONE BUTTON. Five minutes later, it's all done. I do wish it would dry the pieces as well as steam - you need to take everything out (or at least pull the pieces apart) to get it to dry. ... show more

  • Seems to do a great job

I always try and wait a while to write a review, it’s been about three and half months and still going strong. Doesn’t take up to much room which is nice, and personally for me I really didn’t want one that you had to use in the microwave. I use nursery water in mine and run it around 2-3 times today. I have had no issues with rust like I read in some reviews. I empty and dry the bottom with paper towel, and clean the main part every few days - let it air dry after use. Maybe this has stopped with the issues. Always unplug after use. I would buy this again, or give it as a gift. I personally found it easy to use. I have used a variety of bottle brands and sizes and so far have not ran into any issues of stuff not fitting. ... show more

  • Does the job but makes a mess

The only bottle sterilizer I’ve ever had/used, so I don’t have much to compare it to. But I’m not really all that thrilled with it. The size and design (how you can use the large or small basket by itself) is nice, but you always have TONS of condensation after it runs the cycle. So much so that even when you take the bottles and things out after a few hours they are still wet and dripping. My counters are always soaked by the time I take everything out and empty out the remaining water in the bottom of the machine. Maybe this is how all sterilizers work? But I’m not really a fan of that part. ... show more

  • Button stopped working after 3 months
Style: Advanced
I used this about 3 times per week for 3 months and then the power button stopped working. I used it and waited a few minutes, loaded it up a for a second run but the button seemed stuck. At first I thought this was a safety feature because I didn’t wait long enough for it to cool down but after trying hours later and then again the next day, the button no longer clicked in to activate a cycle. I tried unplugging it, inspecting it, but can’t figure out a reason why it broke. I am very disappointed in this product because I was enjoying it while it worked. After reading all the reviews with this same issue I have decided to shop for a different brand. ... show more

  • Not Happy
Style: Premium w/ Dryer
I am not sure if I received a defective product or if this really does not work well but my child (8weeks old) developed oral thrush because of this it does not sterilize anything. I have a separate set of brushes/sponges and drying rack for her bottles, was using this sterilizer once a day and never reused nipples or bottles throughout the day during feedings. My child was on two rounds of strong medications until my doctor recommended I try boiling the nipples/bottles/parts to see if it was a sterilization issue. Within a few days the thrush finally cleared up. Please be super careful with this. ... show more
