I had bought a Sony soundbar for $100 and it didn’t sound that much better than our TV’s built-in sound and it was super big and took up too much space on our mantle. So I looked for a smaller sized sound bar and came across this one that was the perfect size and came with a subwoofer for 40% less in price. It sounds amazing. It fits our small space perfectly. And I can’t believe the price… around $61. Unbelievable! The sound warrants at least a $200+ price tag judging by the other one I bought for a $100 and returned. It was super easy to set up too, and works with our TV’s remote using the HDMI ARC cord it came with. That’s the other thing… the $100 Sony one didn’t come with an HDMI ARC cord (?!?!) and this one for $61 did! Highly recommend!!! ... show more

So I actually use this on my gaming computer and for watching movies. This little sound bar and sub is AMAZING! Is it audiophile? No if you are past 50% volume and put your ear to the sound bar,yes, you can a faint crackling or electrical noise . But sitting even 3 ft away you would never hear it . The sound tho is clear and full. It does not disappoint! The stereo separation is really good The sub is well tuned and will rattle things on my computer desk and framed pictures in my room even when the volume is at a “normal level”….if i have the bass turned up. It does have an adjustment for bass . It will hit a 20hz low with out sounding “fluffly” but it really stands out in the 180-50 hz range which is where most music and movie ( like explosions) bass effects are at. It also has several presets for music/tv/vocal ect as well as the bass level adjustment. Treble is what it is. There is no adjusting but it is well tuned. I use an HDMI connection to my computer but use the wifi connection extensively with my I phone for music . No latency issues or unwanted floor noise. It has connections for wifi, 3.5mm jack, HDMI and fiberoptic. For a bedroom or apartment this is a beast at its price point! The average person is going to be highly impressed. It’s crisp, clear, produces a full sound and a very full bass sound. Is it a high SPL bass that will thump the air out of your lungs? No…. But it is a full bass that will rattle things and is punchy enough. It does not seem to distort or clip. Is it audiophile? No. But it is remarkably clear and room filling for its price point. The sound is quite warm. Would I rank it on par with JBL products? … yeah, defiantly in that ball park of sound clarity/bass and volume ability. Waaay better than “onn” Walmart brand and at a better price. It can get quite loud and not distort. It’s all quite well balanced. The build quality is really good too. It feels very solid and the remote is very good quality. One does not get a cheap or junk feeling overall. The subwoofer enclosure is pressed particle board with a laminate outer and about 1/6 inch thick… nothing fancy but the port is tuned well for the inch sub. If you are an average user / budget shopper just trying to get the best bang for your buck i would recommend this for its sound quality and build. This is definitely hitting well above its price point . If you are looking for audiophile “McIntosh” level, this isn’t it. That said, for 90% of people looking for a compact set up at a good price for an apartment or bedroom that is going to wow you…you are not going to go wrong here!!! ... show more

Very good product. Great sound. Use in my RV. Doesn't take up much space. Have a 43" Hisense Roku TV. Connected via HDMI (ARC). Can control all functions from TV with TV remote except power to the sound bar. To change sound bar settings: Press *, then select sound settings. Can even turn off the light on the sound bar. Using "Dialog" on lower volumes and older TV shows works very good at leveling the volume of sound effects/music so you can hear the actors better. You can adjust the sub woofer separately. I included this because I'm assuming most newer TV's will do this, especially Roku's as I have 3 of them (all different manufacturers) and the menu's are the same/similar. Turning off the sound bar with remote or button on top of sound bar, reverts the TV back to TV speakers (including * options). Turning off the TV, turns off the sound bar too. Very cool, I don't even use/need the supplied remote. Only issue is volume control. TV speakers go up by 1 and the sound bar doesn't. I listen at 21 on TV speakers for most things. At lower volume the sound bar matches the TV speakers up to about 27. Then the sound bar produces much more volume than the TV speakers. So I would like to select 21 for volume on the sound bar but I can't. Volume settings for the sound bar: They go up as follows: 0, 3, 7, 10, 13, 17, 20, 23, 27, 30 etc. to 100. That's +3 then +4 then +3 repeat. I can't select 21 which is my preferred listening level. 20 is just a little too low and 23 a little too high. This is why I've given it 4 stars instead of 5. Using the supplied remote for the sound bar does the same thing. This may be a Roku issue I don't know. One last thing that is important. I've had to watch certain streaming movies from Amazon Prime at level 80 on TV speakers. Going from 80 to 100 had no audible difference. (Which is why I bought this.) I haven't gone higher than 50 on the sound bar so it produces quite a bit of amplification for the price. The sound is still crisp and undistorted. So for the minor inconvenience of volume control this is a real keeper! ... show more
