    • Short term solution
It seems to have worked initially for about 6 months to 8 months with much cleaner glassware in the dishwasher but now seems like the water scaling is back to almost 80% before installing this magnet. It's possible it's losing its magnetic power and that's why hardness of the water is back. I try to contact the seller but got no response. I have been using it now for more than 1 year. I don't know whether we can recharge the magnetic power so that's why I was trying to contact the seller/manufacturer. Hopefully this magnet can be reconditioned or recharged.
