I had a Black Diamond for (too many) years and when I retired it, someone recommended this Corax. And I'm grateful they did. It's an easier on-and-off and a surprisingly comfortable fit even after long stretches of time. The combo of rigid gear loops on the sides and flexible rear loops in the back works well, but in my applications I'd prefer all four to be rigid gear loops - but not enough to bump a star off the rating! There are better rigs out there for more money, but this one's a good buy. ... show more

Unlike some of the other models, where I was unsure about the reliability of the size chart, this harness has such a large range that I knew it was going to fit. The dual buckle design around the waist is probably why it fits perfectly and probably would fit many body sizes.

I’m a 5’6” 200lb woman and this harness works great for me. I have a slimmer waist than my butt and hips. I ordered the size 2 and it fits great. When ordering a harness I had concerns the leg straps wouldn’t fit my thighs, but these ones have a lot of room to adjust. I like all the extra loops and the elastic straps between the belt and leg straps stretch with enough give to be very comfortable around my bottom. The padding in the belt and leg straps makes descending much more comfortable. ... show more

Very comfortable. Seems versatile for size. Has been used by myself (6’1 male 185lbs) and friend (5’8 male, 155lbs). Construction is quality and inspires confidence while climbing. Bag is sized to allow easy repacking. Highly recommend.
