The rings smell overwhelmingly of a cleaner/dryer sheet type of scent. It seems that the toy was stored with cleaning products and the toys are not stored or delivered in their own separate bag, just an exposed toy attached to cardboard packaging. The toy has been out for several days and the smell has not gone away. :( Nervous that it's not safe for my doggo. One thing to note about the toy itself, the blue rings are a sticky rubber instead of a smooth rubber, so they pick up a lot of hairs! Just a thing to note in case your dog sheds a lot and/or this would bother you. I wanted to return, but non refundable. I just wish it didn't smell like cleaning products because my dog loves these rings. In general, I would recommend this for occasional light/medium chewers, but not extreme it definitely wouldn't last long. ... show more

My sister has two golden doodles and she told me about this awesome teething/chew toy! I was skeptical when it arrived because it’s so big compared to my 3 month old puppy but that doesn’t stop her from playing with it! It is a literal lifesaver. She puts everything in her mouth and within a week, she chewed through a shoe, the bottom of my couch, a rope toy, ripped up my carpet, and chewed on my wooden table—all very dangerous items for her to be gnawing on! She loves this toy so much. Her favorite part to chew on is the green part of the rope with those nodules that are probably very soothing for gums and new teeth. We’ve had this for a week and so far, she hasn’t chewed through it at all 🙌🏽 it’s a huge win for us! I highly suggest getting this for your teething puppers. ... show more

The middle ring was shredded pretty quickly. We ended up cutting this one and throwing it away. The two outer rings are the only ones that have lasted for now.

This three-ringed toy seemed like it would be durable "in the beginning" but after about 2 hours of chew time on Christmas morning (fresh out of her stocking!), our one-year old mini-Aussie had destroyed the middle twine ring into shreds. It's been almost two weeks since then and the two remaining silicone rings surprisingly still exist, albeit without many of the fancy ridges and bumps they had originally. Must admit our pup LOVES these remaining two rings! UPDATE: The day after I posted this review, our pup chewed completely through one of the remaining blue silicone rings so we had to throw it away before she made it a dangerous meal. For moderate chewers, this toy is an awesome choice. For heavy chewers, even the silicone didn't last that long so just keep an eye on your dog when they have it. ... show more

I bought one of these Quite a few years ago it lasted through three puppies. One of them was our Puggle who doesnt have long/regular sized dog teeth. She loves the way the gel rings feel on her small teeth. This toy is NOT for aggressive chewers unless being supervised.

I see some people saying this toy didn't last at all, which is surprising to me because it's lasted almost 3 months for my dog. It's actually still got some life in it as I write this review. I got my Border Collie puppy when he was about 3 months old and teething, and he was chewing on everything. This is one of the first toys I've bought him and he loves it. He didn't chew on it every day, but it's one of his favorite toys so it definitely got chewed on more than other toys and he's just getting through the rope ring now. It's lasted way longer than most of his toys! ... show more
