I have an older Maine Coon mix that gets super bored in the winter months. That means he spends all day pestering the other pets, looking for trouble to get into, or meowing at me. I work from home and can’t always play with him, and he’s not very interested in toys. I didn’t have high hopes for this toy, either, but he LOVES it! When he’s not sleeping or eating he’s batting balls around the track. I have no idea why that’s so interesting, but it makes him happy so I’m happy! He weighs 10 pounds and gets pretty assertive with the toy. So far no balls have come out. It does slide across the carpet a bit, so I’m going to figure out a way to give it more weight. I bought this for my two cats so they could have more mental stimulation as well as enrichment time while I’m away at work. My 3yr old cat hates it lol but my 9yr old cat loves it and plays with it constantly. I’d recommend.

I bought this for my two new kittens. From the second I put it on the floor, they were batting away at it. They played for a solid half hour. It is now their favorite toy. It's very well made and stays upright no matter how hard these two play.

We bought this for our two older cats back when they were kittens. They used it as a kind of team sport: one would bat it around and the other would keep it going. After they lost interest and the sister passed away, we got a new kitten, and she amuses herself hours at a time.
