I used it on weeds with a glossy surface and it helped kill them. I wish I could take photos of dead weeds, but after so many days they are gone. I was using the new Round Up formula with the major active ingredient the chemical Triclopyr which makes an Ester(similar to oil and vinegar salad dressing) and it needs shaking periodically. I initially sprayed grass utilizing a hand pump and realized that a battery operated one would be better at spreading the product evenly. Luckily enough it rained the next day and ever since the grass has grown to the point where it has become a chore to keep up with the mowing. Surfactant you ask! I have been skeptical and asked myself why I should buy a product when I can use liquid soap instead? Let me tell you is not the same! This surfactant from Petratools is amazing and a little goes long way. I could clearly see the herbicide sticking on the leaves where I wanted to be. Also Petratools Surfactant contains AMS. Study shows that the addition of AMS to glyphosate tends to improve effectiveness on certain weeds and in certain situations. The most important are: - Prevents the particles in hard water from binding to herbicide, which reduces its effectiveness. - It helps maintain herbicide effectiveness under cold or other adverse conditions. - It helps overcome the reduction in glyphosate effectiveness when mixed with other herbicides that cause antagonism. Cap not tight. Leaked in package. Had a foil seal under cap but still leaked. Don’t know if it was damaged in transit or just leaked. Still mostly full and other item in the package was not damaged. Have not used yet just want to report.
