Bought this years ago and still going strong, my cats love this. Very durable, it takes gnawing-on well. We affectionately refer to this as the cats' "green thing" and one of them is always sitting near it or using it as a pillow. Oh my right out of the box went for it and hasn't left it alone for the last 15 minutes so we shall see how long it holds up cuz she sure needed something my cat just turned 8 months old the 21st of March and the few kicker toys I had she's already beat them up pretty bad she didn't start liking kicker toys until she got want to say 5 months old four or five months even though she was biting on me and Bunny kicking me she didn't get interested in the toys until then ... show more

Our new cat Buddy loved this kicker toy, probably too much. He played with it pretty roughly for 3 days, and then I found it chewed through and stuffing coming out. If you have a more gentle cat it will probably hold up. But our Buddy is a real rough player. I eventually made him a kicker using one of my mom's old compression socks and alternated pillow stuffing and catnip, tying the end of the sock at the top. Buddy loves it and hasn't been able to destroy it going on 5 months now ... show more

My fur baby Peanut loves this so much! He plays with it all the time and kicks the living daylights out of it. Hopefully it will help with some slightly aggressive behavior. This actually replaced an old stuffed Snoopy dog that we had to throw out because he had pulled the stuffing out!

I got this for my recently adopted 10 month old cat Louis. He’s been with me a week, and it became very clear to me that he LOVES ripping and biting things. In the interest of encouraging him to not rip and bite furniture and cords, I’ve been trying to provide him with a variety of toys to channel that destructive teen energy. I opted for this bunny kicker largely because of the Jackson Galaxy label. I’m not usually big on “brands,” but I figured my trusted cat guru wouldn’t lead me astray. (I think I’m allowed to be gullible every now and then, as a treat.) Right out of the package, he went wild. He’s been biting, scratching, and kicking like a little fiend, and he is continuing to do so as I write this review. He got distracted by a passing truck, so I took the opportunity to check out the toy after a vigorous play session. There are already some pretty noticeable puncture marks, but it seems difficult for him to really tear into the orange fabric. Of course, I’m learning very quickly that cats can and will find a way to do the impossible, so only time will tell if the fabric is as durable as I think it is. I really like the covered Velcro middle section that creates a tearing sound while the cat is playing, and Louis seems to like it as well. That part seems significantly more vulnerable than the orange parts, however. Overall, it’s a good toy, but we’ll see how it holds up to some major biting! ... show more

I took these pics within 5 minutes of owning this toy! The black cat is Orion (22lbs) and the other is Nova (18lbs). I bought this for Orion; he would try to hold and kick my hand sometimes so I'd give him a soft fish, but it was too small to really use for longer than a minute. Nova didn't really kick much before at all so I wasn't sure she'd care about it. I put this on the floor right when it arrived and after about 30 seconds of inspection, Orion fell to the floor and started kicking. He's a big boi and it was a perfect size for him! Nova came out to investigate and much to my surprise, she did the same thing!! Now they're fighting over who gets to play with it, so I may have to get then another one! I've only had it for a few minutes so I can't say much about durability yet, but the canvas material feels soft and sturdy. I definitely recommend this! ... show more

I’ve had the orange bunny kicker for over a year and my cat still loves it. He plays with it as well as sleeps with it (so cute!) But… the fabric in the middle part is very flimsy and tore after a short time (cats are kicking it so…) I had to replace that part myself with more sturdy fabric.
