This toys weight simulates a real rat. My cat will carry this toy and put it in his food bowl while he eats lol. He is obsessed. He loves tossing it around and tearing it’s head off… repeat buyer here.. it doesn’t last long with constant play maybe a few weeks before needing to be replaced. But worth it as it gives him hours of fun. It gets crusty like a dogs toy because of how much he has it in his mouth. He loves his lemur. Be careful if your cat likes to adjust things the tail can be dangerous. Remove the tail if you don’t trust it, or won’t be supervising. ... show more

Our one-year-old cat enjoyed playing with this adorable chameleon as soon as we gave it to her. She continues to carry it around and play with it months later. The materials and quality of assembly seem to hold up to kitty claws and teeth. Highly recommend.

If this had some kind of chirpy noise for my visually impaired cat, it would be perfect. However, he can see it well enough in the dark to find it and play with it. There needs to be more soft texture light up and sound toys for kitties with extra needs!
