My girl is a 6lbs morkie. She is very petite but long length wise. I ordered her a Med. It fits her the way I like her clothes to fit . If your baby is short length wise you may get away with a small in this one. She also has room in the body of the dress. This dress seems to be made very well (so far). The material is stretchy if your girl has a lot of hair. The only thing I can say kind of neg would be it only has 2 rows of tulle, 2 more rows would have been perfect. This is adorable!! She is a little put off by the mesh and tried to wrestle with it, but she’s a puppy. So that’s to be expected. It’s so cute though. She’s a 3 month maltipoo for reference.

Really cute for fourth of July pictures. I have a 6lb shih tzu and bought the small. It fit well. The only issue was it was a bit long on the sides, she would step on the skirt. Easy enough to fix!

My little 5 pound chihuahua actually loves wearing clothes! I think it gives her a sense of safety and touch which a lot of small dogs need with their anxiety. This is such a cute patriotic dress!! She wears it a few times a year and everyone stops to see how cute she is!!
