I saw this vest and decided to take a chance. I am more than pleased with the quality and the price is over half of what I could have paid to others. My Chez Shepheard is being socialized and the multiple handles gives me absolute control over him in public. Doing bite work the vest gives him free movement. Not sure how they can sell this item at this price when others cost twice as much. I will look for this companies' products from now on. Seeing as there was only one review before me, I was a little hesitant to buy. I’ve have had my eye on the $260 Ray Allen Icon Air harness for over a year now. When I saw this I immediately recognized the design, but was skeptical seeing its price tag at only $50. I was concerned about the build quality and the quality of the materials used. I made the purchase as it was backed by Amazon, and was incredibly surprised when it arrived. It fit’s well, hardware; including plastic cobra buckles, metal V rings, as well as the molle webbing Velcro, and handles are all excellent quality. The “Air” version which has mesh on this is nice. All parts connect and function together well. This product also comes in the non “air” version without mesh, which has a more solid padded nylon backing. I have also placed an order for that and was completely satisfied. Pictured are both models. I am very observant when it comes to a quality product. I have purchased other tactical “knock offs” in the past and found flaws in all of them. Either being a strength flaw, poor stitching or design malfunction, to poor quality materials and hardware. I can say without hesitation that this product is made excellent in design a material, and craftsmanship. I have no idea how they can even afford to sell this for $50 when the materials alone are worth more. This purchase exceeded my expectations in every single way. ... show more

Seems sturdy, pain to adjust and the thing is HUGE. My dog isn’t small and he drowns in this thing. Wish they had an option for a medium instead of large. My dog is 80 lbs

This was easy to adjust and put on the first time I used it on my Rottie. He likes it. The reason I got this was to give me better control over him. He is reactive towards other dogs when walking. This puts pressure on his chest, not his neck when he lunges. He is very strong and was likely to get me off balance with just a leash as he went from left to right trying to break free. Things that I liked: All handles are sturdy Velcro on underbelly of harness makes for quick and easy attachment of vest (until it wears out) Things I didn't like: Buckles are plastic they seem weak and may easily break under any real strain Leash attachments seem weak and may easily break under any real strain Velcro throughout the vest is not heavy duty and will wear out over short time What I would like to see changed: Metal "Cobra Buckles" all around in FDE Heavier duty Velcro on top and front of vest- on front patch should be 2"x3" 4 heavy duty (2 on each side) Velcro strips on the under belly of vest located behind buckles for added strength ... show more

I ordered this harness in a Large for a 115lb Male German Shepherd which per their sizing guide should have fit. Sadly this is not the case and apparently the seller does not offer one in a XL so I have to return and start over with another seller. Other than the sizing issues the vest/harness itself looked well made but, I'll admit, I am a bit skeptical of the plastic cobra buckles they use. These buckles look nice but they feel super flimsy and if you have a trained-up XL or Large dog breed I would urge that you think twice and look for sturdier buckles. ... show more

I love how well it fits and the velcro is pretty strong as well which is nice. I like how many d rings there are and the handles are nice. Honestly worth the money but shipping took 2 weeks that was my only downfall
