  • He actually likes wearing this harness!
Let me just start off this review by saying that Nico is so hard to please. He will only have the finest of things in life and wouldn’t settle for anything less. Anyway, he is far easier to walk now. It’s far better than just using a collar because all the pressure is t on his throat when he attempts what he was bred to do, as a Siberian Husky (pulling!). My favorite part about the leash is the varying lengths of the leash/harness that it comes with! This is absolutely perfect for keeping Nico close-by and safe when a car is nearby on our rural roads without sidewalks. Additionally, the leash handles are super comfortable, ergonomic, and padded really well. Finally, the harness is lightweight enough and comfortably enough for him to wear around the house, which is shocking because he’s tried to escape from any other harness he’s worn. This product is a must have! Here’s what Nico’s dad said: The harness was absolutely amazing! It fit perfectly around him despite his slimmer than most build. It had numerous handling locations and for those with dogs that pull like mine does they have one right on his upper back. Keeping that in mind they also have a leash with decent length that has an additional loop for grasping for a more secure walk. It also, has reflectors which are great for our night time walks and additional locks on the connected parts of the neck and vest to keep it from being clipped off on accident. Mid way down the leash it has a metal piece used for clicking into the seats of your car. All in all I had a fantastic experience with this product and hope to see what else they come up with! ... show more

  • Pretty damn good. And the the price is right.
So basically it's a good solid harness with a few extra things I didnt realize I'd like. So it's easy to adjust the fit with slider like is on any nylon collar. It does come with a collar too which I dont use but matches the vest and leash that's also included. The main reason I got it is the vest though. It's easily slide over the head and attaches with two buckles on the side. The buckles have a locking feature which you use by a slider you push up or down. My dog didn't mind the vest at all so I didnt feel the need to use them. The extra little thing I liked though are the handle attached to the back which helps control my boy when meeting overly hyper dogs and actually the buckle attachment for the leash. I drive around in my jeep and it let's me have the doors off and leave him in the car since I can buckle him in and he cant jump out. The other thing I noticed was he didn't feel the need to want to charge ahead. Now i dont know if this was a fluke or because the harness kind of hugs him he felt more under control but either way it's nice. All in all I'd reccomend the vest. If you want a bit more control over your pet, want to be able to leave them in a vehicle for a bit safely, or heck just want them to be able to carry around their own water and poop bags(I attached a water bottle and poop bag carrier to the hook on the back). Plus its 20 bucks for a vest/harness, collar and a good leash. ... show more

  • Affordable, durable harness
This is a great harness for the price. The material is quality and the design is good. I like the adjustable straps. Especially because it seems a little big for our dog(he’s an eight month old golden retriever and we got a large) but he will definitely be getting bigger so he’ll he able to grow into it and we can adjust accordingly. I also like that it has extra safety clips on the buckles. Sometimes buckles will still pull out if pulled on too hard and this will prevent that. Lastly I like that the front straps are lower down on his chest. His old harness was a scoop neck and if he pulled(as most puppies do) he would cough because it was pushing on his neck. This harness has straps that go down in a V shape and don’t push on his neck. This also came with a collar and a leash w/ a car seat belt clip. We were looking for a seat belt clip and this is perfect he seems more secure and more comfortable being buckled in Only complaint I would have is that the middle of the harness on the top seems to buckle outward sometimes but I think it may be because it’s a little big still so only time will tell. ... show more

  • Leash is weak and leash ring makes noise like it’ll break one day
I got my dog an XL. He is half pit bull and half Siberian husky. So he’s a bigger dog and a little fluffy. I measured him before purchasing and even though the measurements matched up with the size XL I most definitely could’ve gone with a large. I adjusted the straps and it helped with the sizing for the most part. It still works for him which is great. As far as the sturdiness, my dog is strong in the chest and likes to run. I notice as we were just walking, by the clip for the leash, it makes a little noise and it scares me that one day it might break. I have had this happen before so that is one of my fears. I don’t want to have him wear both a collar and harness. He is getting older so I just want to strictly use a harness for safety on his neck. The leash is terrible for a bigger dog. It’s very weak. I ended up using my dogs leash which is fine because I prefer that one but I wanted to try out the leash it came with and it’s too thin and the threading is already loose at the sides. It was like that when delivered. I tested it once just walking to my mail box and it was too weak. Besides the fact that the harness is making a noise that makes me fear it might snap, I do like the harness. It gives my dog more control and safety. I also don’t like the front leash ring that prevents pulling because it just moves the harness to the side and kind of shifts everything and chokes him a little bit. I will continue to try it out and see how long it lasts and update my review. It is great for the price and what it is but maybe steer clear if you have a bigger stronger/muscular built dog. Honestly I will use this harness but keep looking for something else in the meantime. I just don’t feel this was meant for bigger dogs that like to run or are just very active in general. I don’t think it’ll uphold those activities very long. ... show more
