  • Greatest Thing For My Puppy!
Size: 3 in Number of Items: 1
The media could not be loaded. Got this in preparation for my puppy. Took him a few weeks, he is on the second difficulty now. He’ll play soccer with it all over the place. Right treats and he’ll be engaged for awhile. It is pretty noisy, but I’m sure that’s because we play with it in wood floor. It is so much fun to watch him go at it. So focused and driven. Sometimes he makes it go so fast he has to circle back to make sure he didn’t miss any treats that may have fallen out. Durability, if he smacks it hard enough into a wall the top piece will pop open, but no breakage yet and it’s only happened a handful of times. Highly recommend for a high drive little pup. ... show more

  • My Corgi's favorite toy!
Size: 4" Number of Items: 1
Never written a review of a dog toy, but I have to say our young Corgi keeps self-entertained with this ball every single day. And I do not need to put treats inside. She loves the very hard plastic and the way it wobbles when it rolls. It also takes smarts to learn how to carry it with her teeth, by grabbing onto the slots and hole. A bit hard when she was 5 months old, but now at 7 months she's a pro. She looks so proud when she figures out how to grab it just right and carry it. When we leave her alone in her gated play area, we always set this ball out with her. We now bought two of them. Cons: It is loud. The hard plastic bangs into everything, and is especially loud on hard floors. But I think this is half the appeal for our Corgi. She's attracted to its loud roll. If things like that really annoy you, you might think twice about getting this. The other thing is it's pretty tricky to figure how it fits back together once you open it (to insert treats). But like I said earlier, we never put treats in it, and she still LOVES it. Unlike an empty Kong toy, that she has no interest in. ... show more

  • good idea, but poorly designed top half, flimsy
Size: 3 in Number of Items: 1
Poorly designed ; there's no reason for top half to be made split into 2 pieces that easily come apart from each other ; should have been made as a half sphere just like bottom half which screws together with top half. Received order with 3 new "IQ Activity" type of dog toys yesterday & was excited for my dog to try this one out first, since she has had a similar type ball that she liked. Within 10 to 15 minutes of her playing with this ball it had come apart because of the poorly designed top piece that separates in half so easily. So, then my dog was able to remove the the inner piece between the top & bottom, chew on it, & all the kibble spilled out. I gave it 2 stars because the idea is good of having a center piece with holes that don't line up with outside hole of ball, so dog has to roll ball around/play with it to get kibble to come out. But, the construction of that top half ruins it. 3 DAYS LATER : I'm revising to 3 stars. After trying it out again, I realized that when you screw the bottom half onto the top you have to make sure you turn it VERY hard - even after you think it is screwed on well if you try turning more extra hard you can perhaps get it to move/turn/screw on a tiny bit more. That helps make that the top a little more secure. So now, my dog has been able to bat the ball around on the floor & get it to dispense the treats like it should without falling apart. But, after a little while she just picks the ball up in her mouth & carries it back to her bed & just keeps holding & chewing it from the hole as a starting point, turning the ball upside down & shaking it around until she can get more treats out (rather than running around after it). HOWEVER, now that it is screwed on harder, she is not getting it to come apart like she did so readily that first time. (Plus, now I am taking it away from her & putting it back out on the floor once she carries it back to her bed & starts chewing on it. But she just picks it up in her mouth & carries it back to her bed again), By the way, she is only a small 26-lb. dog, & is not a big chewer - she does not usually chew things, even bones/chew treats/chew toys. She just is trying to get at those treats the lazier easier way than batting the ball around. And the ball is too small since she can just pick it up in her mouth & carry it even though she is not a big dog. ... show more

  • I can't figure out how to adjust difficulty
Size: 3 in Number of Items: 1
The only thing that I noticed was I cannot adjust the difficulty. No matter which direction I put the layers, it's the same. Regardless of that, this toy is awesome. It keeps my Maltese entertained and intrigued. The newer design does allow the treat hole side to disassemble into 2 parts to prevent dog jaws getting stuck. Great adaptation after seeing trouble others have had. This is not going to be something for a heavy chewer. It's to keep the dog entertained mentally, not necessarily physically. My dog loves it. ... show more

  • Breaks easy
Size: 3 in Number of Items: 1
I like the idea of being able to put treats in a ball for my pup to chase. However, for some weird reason, the top portion of the ball is made up of two pieces. They are supposed to slip together and then attach to the bottom part of the ball. All was well until my pup caught her lip between the two top pieces. When we later looked at it (after she was rescued from the ball) a very small piece of the plastic had broken off and that is what caught her lip. The plastic is also very cheap and thin. I had one years ago, it was very sturdy and the top part of the ball was one piece, not two. I would not recommend this for smaller dogs. Don't know if the larger is made better, but I would check it out, before giving to your dog. ... show more

  • A great way to distract my Pug
Size: 4" Number of Items: 1
My Pug suffers from separation anxiety. This is an great way to distract her from my absence. I fill it will Cheerios and she's busy for an hour or more. I started out with the easiest insert to get her familiar with it and will increase her challenge as we go. Dishwasher safe is a big plus!
