Ordered this just in time for winter! I used this for my dog the first time last night. He's a small dog that likes to burrow in his bed and he gets cold easily. This is the perfect size to fit between the pillow and the liner of his bed. I got this for my 18-year-old cat who is always cold. He loves this, and it works great. It's easy to clean and to use. I like how you can set the temperature and the number of hours. It can be set up to 24 hours, and it counts down to show how much time is left. This is great so he can be comfortable all night! My only problem is that the other cats want one, too! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The heating pad arrived packaged well without any damage. It is a good size for our cat and the temperature range goes from 80 to 130 degrees fahrenheit with increments of 5 degrees. You can set a timer on it as well from 1 to 24 hours by hitting the set button to switch between timer or temperature setting mode. The timer setting is changed in incremental of 1 hour. I was between 2 or 3 stars. Since the item is as described I gave it them the benefit of the doubt. It looks like the picture, dimensions are correct, it plugs in and heats up…so what’s the problem? I suppose I am partially to blame for not pulling out my ruler and verifying just how big (or small) 18”x18” really is. In my defense, the size is Medium (I would be interested what type of animal can fit on the small) AND from the picture, that cat looks pretty comfy-cozy and has plenty of extra space. Buster, my Shorkie, is not much bigger than any cat I’ve ever seen (10-11lbs) and he definitely does not fit with any extra room to spare. Also, it wouldn’t hurt if the power cable was longer. I didn’t measure the exact length (again, I really need to start pulling out that ruler), but I can say I needed to attach it to an extension cord in order to move it anywhere my dog would lay. Luckily, Buster wouldn’t lay on it regardless, so problem solved! I think I am going to get myself a small sized heated blanket, fold it in half, and let Buster lay on that. ... show more

My 20 year old cat LOVES this bed! I love that it has a timer so if I forget that it’s on, it will turn off by itself. Highly recommend. Not super plushy but it’s soft enough that my cat likes it!
