  • Excellent for recovering pup!
This was awesome for getting our dog outside after leg surgery. Her activity was very restricted for 8 weeks, which was a challenge for an active 2.5 year old dog! She enjoyed being able to ride around in her stroller since she wasn’t able to walk much and the configuration made it very easy to let her “in” and “out” of the stroller for potty breaks. ... show more

  • Easy on my back; easy assembly; seems sturdy; rolls nicely
I purchased this for my 11 year old Cocker Spaniel mix who is starting to slow down a bit. He is 30 lbs, and while he easily fits into the stroller I can't imagine a 100 lb dog fitting comfortably. I just got it the other day and was thrilled at how easy it was to assemble. I love the opening in the back for my dog to step into (I lured him in with a treat), and the "sunroof" like opening on the top. I didn't want to have to pick him up & put him in a stroller, so this design works well for me. I do wish that the stroller top was split so I could just pull back the top portion (like a canopy) and still have sides around him. There are plenty on the market like that, but not with the 'back door' opening for a dog to step into (at least that I was able to find). The wheels are large and roll well, and there is a brake by the back wheels. I had it outside for the first time today and was relieved that my dog was relaxed in it. Very excited to have this for him! ... show more

  • Long walk success!
Our baby was diagnosed with hip dysplasia on his left side a few months back and had slowly been healing back to normal. Just a few days ago he ended up rupturing his CCL on his right back leg. He always enjoys going outside for his long walks (which he hasn't been able to do because of his hip, and now even more so because of his knee) and started to seem depressed. I had been looking for a low to the ground "stroller" that was nice and open so he could have a good view of things. This one has been perfect. I very much like that the mesh can be held up so it's open. Originally after reading some of the reviews on the smaller stroller, I was scared he would be too long to lay down, but since we leave the mesh open, it is perfect for him. I attached a picture so other people can hopefully have a nice length size comparison for the smaller (large) stroller size. The handle bars are adjustable. My husband is 6'3'' and able to push without much issue. I am 5' and able to adjust the handle lower for myself. We did a test run on some fresh gravel, which needed a bit of manpower, but the stroller seemed to do well. So far, I have not experienced anything negative about this stroller! (I did pinch my hand while unfolding the stroller, but I blame myself for that one. :) ) ... show more

  • Perfect stroller for pets.
My senior mother wanted to take her crazy Frenchie out for sunshine and air but he goes cuckoo if he sees other pets, he's heavy for a short thing and hard for her to lift or handle, he has spine problems so my mom 'lifting him' in and out of a stroller or cart was never gonna work safely for either of them. This PetGear Excursion is AMAZING. It all snaps firmly to keep him enclosed so when he goes nuts, he can't get out. I do have her keep a squirt bottle in the cup holder to redirect his focus when it does happen but the mesh is thick and has a plastic coating over the fabric mesh so it is pretty sturdy and so far does not appear that a few jumps and nails on it has any effect. The snap open/close rear door is wonderful. With a like 4" step into it, the dog easily gets in so neither he or my senior mom need to hurt their backs. The safety leash/hook inside is perfect so even if she lost control of him getting in or out.... he is still hooked to the cart and can't get away. He is enjoying watching and sniffing the world outdoors now as he and my mom have pretty much been indoor recluses for 4 years. The double cup holder and closing compartment are perfect for her keys or garage opener, her water and his h20 bottle. The adjustable handle angles and soft foam grip are perfect to adjust for different heights and comforts. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Great value. ... show more

  • Great stroller for small to medium dog
My Lola LOVES her puppy cruiser. She’s got a lot of breathing and body temp regulation issues but loves being outside. The Pet Gear Expedition was a great purchase. We bring it with us on all our long walks. It was easy to assemble, has great maneuverability and for such a big carrier it’s surprisingly lighter than expected. My only complaint is the cup holder attachment could be sturdier. But everything else on the carrier is well made and well designed. I love the closures and the front and rear wheel locks. It’s the perfect size for my 25 pound French Bulldog. It says it will hold larger dogs but if you want your dog to have a little wiggle room I would get the bigger model for a dog over 40 pounds. We highly recommend this dog cruiser. 100% Lola approved ! ... show more

  • Adorable, well made!
My two 5lb Chihuahuas LOVE their new stroller jogger. It is very sturdy, well made, of good materials, and so easy to maneuver! The openings make it easy for my little ones to hop in and out on their own. As a plus, I use this to transport groceries, as I live in the city and have to walk/carry everything. ... show more

  • Excursion/Large is smaller than stated
My 35 lb Sheltie is way too big. He should fit by dimensions, but the dimensions are NOT forgiving in any way. One....the headroom is compromised by the slope of the front of the in/out entry. The length is compromised by the rounded front of the stroller. It really is suited for a small dog, as in a dog under 25 lbs like a mini poodle, a small beagle, a small pug, etc. The rear entry is great, and the front in/out is nice, too. But take a few inches off the length and height measurements. ... show more

  • Sturdy and maneuvers smoothly. Very happy with this stroller.
Sturdy and maneuvers smoothly. We have a miniature poodle with a broken back.. She is not to walk much. We are waiting for the doctors to schedule surgery and this stroller will also be handy to use as she recovers. We can take her in the stroller to go for a walk and to take her for her potty duties. We use a ramp for her to get in and out of the stroller since she is not to even take one step up or down. Many strollers designs would require us to to lift her into the stroller and lifting her is not a good thing at this point, so we chose this one. ... show more
