This cat toy is so nice!! At first our kitten was afraid of it (she's about the size of its face) but she quickly got over that. She loves to zoom though it and "hide" which is cute became u can hear it crinkling when she's hiding. The main body also has the crinkle effect. It's ALOT bigger then I thought it would be. I am 5"11 and if i stand it up on the end it reaches to about my shoulders, also the legs reach out about as wide as my arms. So its nice it can be collapsed into a little ring to be put up when needed. It seems like the fabric is durable, our kitten is about 4 months old and her little razors have yet to make any holes in it. I will say if your putting it on hardwood you may want to put a rug or mat under it because it will slide if your cat zooms in, but ours seems to enjoy that lol. My cautious cat was a little put off by the loud crinkle texture of the material, so it took her a few attempts to really come to grips with it, but by the end of the first day she was all the way in, swiping at me with her little paw through the arm and leg holes, scooting through, hiding in the middle, peeking out, she was LOVIN IT. It comes with ties on one end so you can theoretically gathering the hoops together and tie it up to put it away, which I was counting on because my apartment is small and I don’t need the entire living area full of a big crinkly tiger tube, and I like to rotate my little lady’s toys, and it DOES technically work, but the ties are way too short to make it easy, and I wish the ties were like 3 inches longer, because it was a bit of a production to get it secured. I might end up just using Velcro ties instead because I don’t want to have to engage in a life or death struggle every time to get it contained. If you live in a huge house with a room just for cat enrichment, you’re good, don’t even worry about it, BUY THIS TOY. But if you live in a small space and want to be able to put it away, just a small warning about the difficulty of doing that, I recommend getting an alternate method for securing it. ... show more

This is no average tunnel. I’ve had this tunnel (the mewnicorn one) for a few years now. I’ve had multiple resident cats and many, many foster kittens demonstrate their approval: I have not had one resident or foster cat/kitten that has NOT had a blast with this thing. The 4 arm holes in addition to the normal tunnel entrances up the “fun factor” ten-fold. This is very sturdy and my foster kittens do love playing in it. However, I had to make major modifications because of the following: 1) the "arms" were never used. They have no structure so lay flat and none of the kittens (or my young adult cats) knew they could go through them. This is even after I tried teaching them repeatedly. I cut two of them off completely to make holes and left the others. 2) There are not enough holes in it to entice my kittens/cats to attach when another cat is inside. Also, I had no way of dangling wand toys inside and then having the cats easily see them. I cut two large holes on top (big enough for a kitten to jump in and cat to squeeze through). I cut smaller holes on the side, big enough for cats to see action and attach with paws. Now it's a winner. ... show more

Love, love, love it. Was looking for more “tasteful” options for play tunnels when a new kitty came into my life, but when I saw this one, I had a huge “duh” moment. What else would even be appropriate for my new Pretty Pretty Princess Kitty(gorgeous and goofy, if the occasional diva, adult Ragdoll) than purple, rainbows, sparkles, and unicorns? Thoughts of an entirely tastefully decorated space immediately flew out the window when I came across this after weeks of casual searching. Jokes on me! Not only is it delightful(it even has a tail to go with that usually floppy sparkly horn!), but it also seems to be quite sturdy and very well made of materials that will hold up well... unless she decides to use it as a chew toy... then all bets are off, no matter the quality of the toy or item. The tunnel has two layers of material, one of which is the outside, and an inner layer that sounds remarkably like a plastic bag, which comes in handy for the cat when she decides that it’s time to wake me for breakfast. Love it anyways, but keep it away from your bedroom if your cat is a wake up call genius and you don’t think that you’ll find yourself as amused as I am by your cat’s antics and creativity. ... show more

This is a really cute product. My kitten loves the tunnels and I think he mostly likes the ability to hide and jump out at you when he thinks you can’t see his tail sticking out of the end. My daughters love that it is a unicorn so that’s a win. It does fold up but you have to squish it all up and tie it with these just barely long enough strips of the plastic fabric. I can imagine those might break quickly but so far so good. It was a hit in our house for everyone except the dog who repeatedly gets startled by the kitten jumping out at him. I have never seen a beagle jump so high! I am waiting to come home to it completely chewed and shredded and the kitten really ticked off that his tunnel was eaten by the dog in revenge. No kidding- I tried to get a video for this review of the dog jumping in fright but the kitten kept getting distracted by me when I was creeping in the room with my phone. Sorry guys. It is funny.
