I had too much gray in my living room & needed a color that would “pop”, this color is perfect & brings out the teal in the painting above the loveseat. Most material & cats claws do not go well. This is super soft, warm but lightweight, and a gorgeous burnt orange color. My only, only problem is that it pulls easily so it (already, I didn't bring it out till like, October 2019) has lots of pulled and loose threads. Granted, I do have 2 cats with all their claws but it's not like they intentionally pick at it, just walk across it. Overall, I'd definitely still recommend this blanket. I ordered this blanket in the color, SILVER BLUE. It was exactly the color as shown on website. Item was well packaged and once removed from package, was very soft. I immediately washed the blanket in cold water and dried on low heat. Blanket looks fabulous after being cleaned (I posted a pic). Genuinely adore this throw blanket I got the “burnt orange” and the color was exactly what I expected. I’m pretty sure I’m going to end up messing it up because it is soft knit and my rings, charm bracelet etc typically get caught on everything but I won’t mind. This is the perfect pumpkin color to go with my fall pillow covers. I like to keep a throw over my chair for added color and use during chilly evenings. This one is so soft and the weave and fabric make it one of the nicest I have. I machine washed and dried it when I first took it out of the package. No color bleeding, and it is soft as ever.
