I really don't have a problem with body odor, but I tried this nice liquid soap anyways! It has an awesome, light scent that didn't seem fruity at all. The consistency is perfect; it is not too concentrated and not too watery. I always moisturize after showering, but this soap washed off well and left my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. I cannot find the ingredients on the outer box or the white plastic bottle that the soap comes in. I usually won't use products unless I can read the ingredients, but I really liked the way it smelled, so I tried it anyway. And I'm glad I did. The only thing I didn't like is that the bottle is not filled to the top. I'd say it was filled 80 percent. I'd rather have a smaller bottle for a better ecology. One more thing...this soap was very kind to my nether regions and that is very important to me!! This soap is made in the USA. ... show more

This body wash smells great. It is very tropical. It lathers up nicely. It leaves my skin feeling very soft and rejuvenated. It has a long lasting scent so it is great if you also like the persimmon and mango scent. The soap cleans very well because one small drop will lather across your body. The ingredients list seems very good including being sulfate free and it appears to be made in the USA which is a plus when it comes to body wash. ... show more

Both my boyfriend and I have been enjoying this bodyweight quite well. It feels luxuriously smooth and you can immediately feel the moisturizing effect. The smell is very gentle and yummy, not too feminine and not too masculine. Just right :)

    • Foams well, smells nice but is otherwise an average body wash with exaggerated claims
It’s said that persimmon soap can help alleviate nonenal odor (old people smell). I don’t know what percentage of persimmon would be required to help in this regard, nor do I suffer from nonenal odor (at least I hope not!). The label claims this product can “control” unpleasant odors from all parts of the body. The first ingredient listed is “soap base (glycerin, aloe vera, flaxseed)”; however, there’s no mention of the foaming component. This body wash has a creamy, pearlized appearance and foams well. The aroma is pleasant. The label references Natrulo, another persimmon body wash maker also sold on Amazon with matching packaging and mixed reviews. I can’t find an address for either Natrulo or Healov but both labels claim to be handmade in the USA. Bottom line: this body wash seems safe to use on all body parts. Perhaps the added persimmon tannins helps eliminate certain body odors but, in my experience, this soap performs no better or worse than other body washes on the market. I think some of the claims (purifying?, improves skin's barrier function to prevent moisture loss?, shields skin against irritants?, etc.) are quite exaggerated. ... show more

It was a lovely experience using this Healov Persimmon body wash. I enjoyed the light coconut and mango fragrance as well as the gentle cleansing it provided with a good lather. It left my skin feeling soft and fresh smelling. The ingredients are simple and natural - glycerin, aloe vera, flaxseed, persimmon tannins, coconut and mango scent.     • Smells wonderful and doesn't have a bunch of random ingredients I never heard of.
This smells wonderful. My fav thing is it only has 5 ingredients and not one of them is a sulfate! Most body washes have like 20 ingredients that I can't pronounce or know what they are. These are pretty basic ingredients :) Lathers up well when using a loofah ball and I felt clean when I was done. Didn't dry out my skin like lesser quality body washes that use sulfates. This is my third product from this company (the other two being a face wash and body lotion) and all have been excellent quality! ... show more

I really like this body-wash. It is all-natural, feels great on your skin, has a yummy coconut-mango scent, has first-rate ingredients, and can be used as a deodorizing body wash or just a luxurious fun body wash. It contains persimmon which combats all kinds of yucky odors. Highly recommended.
