I ordered this set for myself in the winter when I had a bad reaction to the cold weather in Chicago in combination with some inflammation due to tetrinoin use. The cleanser was my favorite part. Very creamy and hydrating, loved it. Works best when you apply to dry skin and massage it in. You can wipe it off with a clean towel because it will soften and losen dead skin and residue and exfoliate. I also used the serum after and during home micro needling sessions, it protected my skin and helped it heal quickly. It really prevented post micro needling moisture loss. My least favorite product in the bundle was the moisturizer, I found it too light and also stings my skin. I prefer, to do " slugging" with heavier water soluable moisturizing skin balms. This seems like it would be a good light weight moisturizer in the summer months when working out outside...I never tried to wear it with sunscreen though so I don't know if it would be compatible. But it wasn't a bad product just not exactly what I was looking for. The ordinary is great because they use glass whenever possible so I prefer thier serums for that reason as well, and they always deliver a quality product at a great price point. I highly recommend this product. It works for all skin types. I have a combo of oily, dry and normal on certain parts of my face. I have been using this product for a week now. I don’t use the moisturizer because it says use as needed. The one time I did use it. It made my face more oily. the first two products were more than enough for me. Not saying the moisturizer isn’t great. I’m just saying my face was super hydrated right now. But I can definitely see me using it more when I’m in the sun or outside. I also have really bad dark circle. I have tried every product. You can probably think of to get rid of them. This serum + a gua sha took care of that for me. There extremely extremely light. I don’t wash my face because any product I use always makes it worse or if I forget a day or stop using it. It makes my face even worse. I skipped 2 days to see what would happen. my face was perfectly fine and when I started using it again, it worked just as great. So if you like me, you’re always struggling to find the perfect product 10 to 10 recommend this. I wish I would’ve took in a before and after picture, but I didn’t think I would be writing a review lol. But since it was so good, I thought this information might help someone ... show more

    • Cleanser is Very Runny
I have purchased the cleanser separately in store, but I thought I would buy the pack as I wanted the hyaluronic acid as well. When I went to use the cleanser, I opened the bottle and it started gushing out. I thought that was unusual but thought it might just have been pressure from the shipping process. But I have now had this set for a few weeks and every time I open the cleanser it just spills out. I have bought the cleanser on its own multiple times at Ulta and the consistency is more thick. It is still a balm and comes out easily, but nowhere as easily as what I’ve experienced with this one. I don’t know if I just got a wonky batch, but I will not be repurchasing this set. When I get a proper version of it, this cleanser is my favorite. It is gentle on my skin and leaves it velvety soft but cleanses all makeup when I use it. The hyaluronic acid is great, and exactly like the ones I’ve purchased before. This was my first time trying the moisturizer; and I was underwhelmed. I have pretty dry skin and it leaves my skin feeling a little greasy but still dry. Not what I want from a moisturizer. ... show more
