    • A Little Pricey - But Worth Every Penny

First of all, let me say that I am a skeptic about products saying what they can do. I ordered a small sample size of this the first time and tried it. It only takes a small dab and it covers a reasonable area, so since it doesn't take much, this tube will last a good while. The smell is not pleasant, but not really that offensive. And the strange thing is that once you rub it on, you don't smell it anymore. I am an elderly male and I wish some of my stinkin' friends would buy this and I have recommended it to them. This is not meant to be a cover up for poor hygiene but for us who have stickin' places and do not want to offend anyone else. I don't want my grandkids memory of me to be of a stinkin' person but instead to remember me to be a fun and loving grandpa. No matter your stink problem, this stuff works and if some reason that you cannot get a shower everyday, say a hospital patient, or bed ridden patient, this product works to 72 hours, so you can rest assured your not gonna' stink. If you are like I was and skeptical, buy the .05 oz. trial size and try it. You won't be disappointed. I also buy the solid stick deodorant with 72 hours of protection and I don't stink. I saw Lume advertised on tv so thought I would give in to the hype and try it. Very very glad I did! I was skeptical going in, Lume isn’t cheap. But I’m about 7 months into using Lume products and the hype is all it claims! This body wash is easy on the skin and does an amazing job stopping my body odor! I can easily go a couple days between showering and no longer stink like a skunk! My teenage daughter started using it and really saw a decrease in body odor also. I really enjoy the Lume products. The shower gel is at the top of the list. I lathers nicely, has a toasty coconut smell, rinses completely, and my skin doesn't have any negative reactions. I've replaced all my shower products with Lume.

I really like this body wash- this scent in particular. I've tried other scents from LUME and this one (for me personally) doesn't have a weird (temporary) residual odor. I like that it works as advertised (better than any deodorant I've ever used) and is gentle on sensitive skin.

Pros: - Odor Prevention: Effectively prevents odor as advertised. - Moisturizing: More moisturizing than the average body wash. - Pleasant Scent: I found the Toasted Coconut scent is pleasant. - Luxury Feel Cons: - Lather: Does not lather as much as other body washes. - Leaking: Can leak (details below). - Lingering Scent: If you dislike the scent, it might be bothersome as it lingers. I want to start by explaining why I sought out this soap. Recently, I’ve been struggling with a change in my body odor. My sweat started to smell more potent, and the products I’d relied on for years no longer worked. It was quite embarrassing. While looking for a body deodorant, I came across Lume. Due to budget constraints and good reviews, I decided to try the body wash instead of the deodorant. It worked 100%! I feel much fresher for longer periods. Additionally, I noticed it’s more moisturizing than my previous body wash. I have eczema on my hands, and since using this soap, I’ve seen less peeling around my fingers. Addressing the scent, I've read numerous reviews about weird undertones or bad smells. Personally, I didn't experience this. The Toasted Coconut scent I got smells like a typical shea butter coconut scent, reminding me of cocoa butter. While not breathtaking, it's not unpleasant either. Considering the extreme reviews about the scent, I wonder if formulation inconsistencies or bad batches could be causing these issues. I've only tried the Coconut scent, so maybe I got lucky. I'm planning to try the rose scent soon and will update my review accordingly. Regarding the bottle leaking, this is a significant reason I'm rating this 4 out of 5 stars. If you're mindful, this probably won't happen, but I have ADHD and can be clumsy. I noticed a lot of soap had leaked from the package, and it turned out the cap had unscrewed itself. Repeated use likely caused it to loosen without me noticing. I suggest a more secure cap design, especially considering the price point and the fact that it doesn't lather as much, so you'll use more product.
