Instead of replacing my TV stand to accommodate the new style legs they put on flat screens, I bought the Perlesmith stand. It gave my new TV a sturdy base that fin on my old stand. It was easy to assemble and connect to the tv. It is very sturdy. Lots of size options.

I lost the original legs for my TV and needed to elevated it higher. Thus stand really did the job and was pretty easy to use. I would say that it does take two people to mount the TV, but other than that, it works perfectly.

I needed a smaller pedestal to fit my in-laws tv stand as their new tv had two wide feet. This pedestal stand worked perfectly, although putting it together took a little longer than expected. In the end, I highly recommend this strong and fairly sleek tv pedestal style stand.
