With (8) 4x4s (pressure treated) I can make a stable pergola for a shade canopy. This comes with all the basic HW for the structure except the wood and the footings. Its really nice to get everything in one kit that you can just put together in an afternoon. It literally took longer to get the wood than it did to put it together (minus the footing part since that is as simple of complex as you decide to make it). Fit and finish are nice.
