Actually, it will preserve the life of your hearing aids from moisture because I have also accidentally forgot that I had my hearing aids in cuz they're so good to where they don't feel like they're in my ears and I jumped in the shower. Totally forgot they were in my ears until I was wetting my hair down and swiped my hands over my ear. I'm like oh crap LOL that was the second time oopsie so after I got done taking the shower well I took them out. Put them on the counter. Didn't even dry them off. Well maybe a little bit and then I put it in that box after I dried it out fully and literally it does what it says it does. I mean it's common Sense. Ultraviolet raybox sucks up moisture and kills germs or whatever. I don't think that one does but it sucks up the moisture and all that good for the price worth it. It operates as described and only take about 45 minutes to dry my hearing aids. I bought the item after I bought the item after stepping into the shower, forgetting to remove my hearing aids. They didn't get soaked, but I didn't know how much water they had absorbed. I searched for a remedy on line, saw the ad on Amazon, ordered the item, it arrived within 1-2 days and I immediately put my hearing aids in and it only took 45 minutes to dry. I git this drying unit at the recommendation of my audiologist. I have jabra 200 hearing aids and they lasted about 10 months before they quite. I was told that living in a hot humid area like I do can shorten the lifespan of hearing aids. This unit takes 40 minutes to complete its cycle and drys and disenfects at the same time. Audiologist suggested purchasing something like this for my hearing aids. This machine works well, cycle only takes 40 mins and its compact enough to pack when traveling. Very happy with purchase. I’ve owned it almost a year now without issue.

I’m new to using hearing aids, and my audiologist suggested using this to keep them dry it does a great job, takes about a half hour, I put them in press the button, take my shower, shortly after they are done, and that’s it, no muss no fuss, great product to help protect my hearing aids.
