The entire face is really readable from afar. Unlike many of it's competitors this clock is fully Plastic. However that will prevent the metal discoloration we've had on other outdoor clocks. The last clock we had from a competitor lasted nearly 12 years outdoors in Florida heat and humidity so hopefully this will also last. ... show more

The clock is beautiful. It replaced a 25 year old, wind up, chime clock that became a nuisance by waking up guests if we forgot to stop the pendulum. Then we had to remember to restart and reset the hands. The new clock is battery-driven and does not chime. The clock was shipped in a protective container and was very simple and fast to hang and operate. We definitely would recommend the clock and the family that sells it. We were also pleased that the seller sent us a personal, handwritten note thanking us for buying their clock and asking us to contact them if we ever have any questions.
