I haven’t had a pencil sharpener in a long time. I always relied on mechanical pencils but lately, I’ve taken up coloring so I don’t need any dull colored pencils. This pencil sharpener is quick and precise with no cord and just batteries that last a long time. It doesn’t over sharpen so the pencils break and it definitely makes sure that the pencils are sharp. It’s electric and has an easy to twist-off top to dump the shavings out. This pencil sharpener requires minimal effort from you. After using this product for a while now, I think it’s pretty clear that it was made with efficiency and user’s needs in mind. It doesn’t matter what you’re sharpening because, at the end of the day, it will be smooth and sharp. It’s a great product for those who are students, artists, teachers, or really anyone else. This pencil sharpener is reliable. It doesn’t drain your batteries and no cords are necessary. It’s also quite durable, trust me, I would know I’ve dropped it more times than I’d like to admit. Along with its durability and reliability, the design and coloring are sleek and fit in well with all of my other office supplies. It’s not silent but it isn’t super loud either. It also has a surprisingly large enough storage for the shavings so you don’t have to continuously empty it. OK, it's not a high quality pencil sharpener. But for our Grandkids colored pencils it works well enough. They're not using expensive art pencils so this works for them and they like it. Smaller than anticipated. Doesn’t sharpen the smoothest, and leaves a groove on the pencil. Not a smooth edge finish to the pencil anymore. But is nice compacted sharper. smaller than i thought but in the best way. super portable, easy to use, easy to clean out and came with a second replacement part blade attachment thing. the option for manual vs electric sharpening is also really nice. i appreciate the locking feature on the pencil shavings compartment a lot since i tend to spill pencil shavings with every sharpener i’ve used in the past. + costs around the same as majority of the decent reviewed manual /ordinary sharpeners i came across in my search awesome esp for the price ! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The sharpening mechanism is great- I get nice sharp points. However, when using it in the battery operated setting, the top automatically unlocks and that whole piece pops out. So, I have to hold the dial in the locked position. I've included a video.
