Myyyy preeeeciouuuuuuuuuusssss... That would be the Tech3+ pen. :) I have this in both the Frosty Steel Lacquer and the Translucent Red Lacquer. They (especially the red) are GORGEOUS!!! They feel AMAZING in the hand, they write fantastically smooth, and I LOVE how I have both black and red ink available to me AT ALL TIMES, which I need at all times. Also LOVE having a STYLUS on it! I don't like touching stuff that everyone in the world has touched, and it's great to be able to use this stylus instead of many of the styluses at the grocery stores, etc. The pencil feels great, too, BUT: I never use it, SADLY, because once I use up the first lead, I can never get the subsequent leads to advance properly. BUMMER, because I do use a pencil a lot. So I still have to carry a pencil in addition to this. Maybe it's just user error, but aaaauuugh. Anyway, the pens' function and the stylus function are WONDERFUL and make it all worth it. ... show more

Love this pen. I have owned several Cross pen sets over the years and have always been pleased with the performance and quality of their products. This pen is no exception. It writes very smoothly as have the other Cross pens I have owned. The mechanical “twist” operation to extend and retract the pens or pencil is very smooth. Having a complete set of pens (black / red and a pencil) all in one instrument is exceptional. Though it is not as slim as other Cross pens, it is by no means “bulky”. And the fact that it comes in a variety of colors is a bonus. Will probably buy a couple more for presents. ... show more

I really like the look and it is a good size to hold for writing sessions that last 30-60 min. It is 4 grams heavier than the blue lacquered model of the Cross Tech3 so it is a hefty pen at 28 grams. I'm OK with that and don't usually write for longer than 60 min at a stretch so the pen seems good for that duration at least. The multifunctions work nicely and I don't use the pencil. You can buy refills of different colors if you don't like the standard red/black combo it comes with. A great looking pen and the 2 inks are very useful. The switching function works well and just don't abuse the pen by cranking the twist mechanism hard. That might damage it. ... show more

I had a pen like the Tech 3+ when I was in the military and I really liked it. I was feeling nostalgic one day and tried to find one here on Amazon and the only one I found was this Tech 3+. So I bought and I love it. It writes so smooth that it’s actually a joy to use. My only (only) complaint is that, due to the multi pen function, the barrels are of necessity, short. Since I do a lot of writing now, I go through refills like crazy. Otherwise, I have no complaints. If you need or just want three pens in one (okay, two pens and a pencil), you want this pen. ... show more

Cross makes a great writing instrument. I have used Cross Pens since graduating high school in 1982. I always replace those I lose or that get misplaced with another Cross pen. The Tech 3 is a great pen to have as you have three writing instruments in one. The addition of color to the model is great. I would have preferred they remained with the hard top versus the 'stylus' type of top. ... show more

It is easy to write with and comfortable to use. Only draw back is after 6 months of use on my last one it no longer switches between the 3 functions. That is why I purchased a new one.
