  • No complaints it’s a really decent piece of furniture
Easily assembled only thing is the wood could have been stronger like a better cut or quality other than that I’m satisfied

  • Not that great
Not as easy to assemble and not very sturdy. Had to repair it twice in a year and it was for an adult.

  • Not as bad as other reviews say
I do not normally write reviews but I wanted to review this product because there were so many bad reviews and the product is not as bad as portrayed. It shipped in two boxes. I would suggest taking the pieces out in a garage or outdoors as the packing Styrofoam is very messy when taking the parts out. Lots of little bits of foam. Make sure you get all of the parts out and do not throw away the boxes until you are done. We left a set of rails in the box by mistake. We had no broken pieces as other reviews have stated. We did have a little bit of damage. I have attached pics of the damage. The wood scratches we just covered up with a black marker. I bent the lock back as good as I could. We are not locking it so no big deal to us. Assembly took a while and the instructions are not the best. But if you have ever assembled furniture like this before you should be ok if you take your time and check each step before you start. I would not recommend it for a novice. For the most part one person can assemble it with the help of another person here and there. I used a slow speed drill for the numerous screws. That helps. Overall the build quality is ok. For the price and free shipping we are happy. It is not a heirloom piece by any stretch but it fits our needs and style. ... show more

  • Absolutely worth it!
I was skeptical about getting this dresser because of the reviews of how hard it is to put together. It is definitely very time consuming but worth it. The hinges came bent so I reached out to the seller for new ones and they responded immediately and sent new perfect hinges. My brother and I took our time putting it together. It came out great. I would order this dresser over again. I love it. ... show more

  • NOT A BAD (LOOKING) DRESSER JUST BAD MAKE
This dresser, is a very nice looking dresser, but it has very weak wood and incompetent measurements. Now you're probably wondering why I'm saying incompetent measurements instead of saying incorrect measurements. Well the issue that I'm dealing with for the dresser that I have, has measurements that are off on a few items and that is causing the rest of the dresser to not function correctly and smoothly. The top two smaller drawers are drooping and are sitting on top of the first long drawer because the board that is supposed to support them is weak and dips in the middle. So not only are they now sitting on the top of the big drawer making it hard to open, but since they're drooping they cannot reach the locking point. Also one of the smaller drawers is sitting at least a centimeter out from the frame where it's supposed to be touching because the holes on the divider panel that goes to those smaller drawers has two sets of holes for the sliding mechanisms. One side is fine while the other is a centimeter further than the ones that are correct they are not symmetrical which is causing this process problem. The big door for this dresser has centimeter gap near the hinges because the hinges don't set right to the frame and so they have a jacked up looking non symmetrical looking dress door. Now to get to the incompetent part. I had taken this issue with the Hodeda headquarters to their customer service. Customer service was lovely. The H board that is defective was sent the same on all three the boards. The divider boards that they sent me to replace the one that's messed up have the same issue. Now during this whole process I'm doing very thorough emails that describ specifically what was wrong and sending very clear pictures. Now I understand that they might just have these parts in the warehouse, but to have me saying that there's a defective part SHOULD (the very word should doesn't mean it will happen) make you look at the rest of those parts to make sure there's not the same issue. So on the fourth try I talk to them in person and the lady who I talked to was very sweet and understanding and she herself was puzzled as to why it was coming back defective three times. So I don't really get an email saying what part they're sending me, but that they're sending me another replacement. Well I'm over at vacation and come back to find that they sent another full dresser. Now most people would be happy "Hey! Free dresser!", but I'm busy and it took me a while to put up this fresh dresser so I wasn't really all that happy. So before I take to making this whole dresser I looked at the measurements on that one as well. It had the same issues the board that's holding up the 2 tiny dresser drawers was flimsy (that's expected) so of course it's still gonna droop. The one drawer that sits out one centimeter will still sit out one centimeter because that divider board has that same messed up measurement on that one side like the others that've been sent. And the door will have a centimeter gap to the frame because the measurements are the same. So it's not a bad dresser in hindsight they just need a firmer board to hold up the 2 tiny dresser drawers correct measurements and this dresser will be completely fine. I mean I paid $200 something for this drawer only for it to not work and not be firm. ... show more

  • Beer Required for Construction
Well... I'm a pretty handy guy and have recently renovated a rental property with the help of YouTube. I'm talking about installing cabinets, laying tile, plumbing electrical, etc. All were doable with minor guidance, same putting this thing together. However, I could have potentially gone postal if I didn't include alcohol as part of the install- in fact, they should probably include that up-front in their documentation. Then again, once you see the plastic-wrapped screw-packet, the desire for alcohol will probably be a subconscious defacto response. Anyway, construction of this bad-boy took me 6 hours which I'm guessing is about 2-4 hours less than it would have been if they just mailed me the wood and the instructions simply read... "buy screws and assemble." ;-) All that said, now that the thing is together, I really really like it! ... show more

  • Not worth the price or labor
The media could not be loaded. We were really excited about this dresser, but it is not worth the price. Our previous dresser was from IKEA and we figured laying double the price would get us double the quality - NOT. The dresser came with scratches. The material is extremely cheap. It took 3 of us to put 2 dressers together. It’s very labor intensive and the instructions read like radio static - no sense. Also if you do not plan on hanging any of your clothes I suggest skipping the installation of piece 17 (the silver triangle looking piece). It is absolutely useless and a waste of time. We’ve had the dresser for a couple of weeks and within a day the backing started coming off. You can see the small nails sticking out and a gap at the back. The drawer rails do not align correctly so the drawer is installed at a slant (pic included). I included a picture of the damage it came with and a video of the nails sticking out. Overall, it can hold a lot of clothes, but I think there’s better quality stuff out there. ... show more
