Everything is made of solid wood and sturdy. Very easy to assemble however, the instructions were pictures only and not very detailed. It's a simple design and the only hardware you will be working with are screws and an Allen key that are included. Very simple to assemble! Table and benches came in 4 very large and heavy boxes so I was a little intimidated when it delivered but working together with my son, it only took us about 30 minutes to complete and looks great. I waited a year to do this review to make sure to put it to the test! I have to say that this gorgeous nook is definitely worth the extra we paid for it compared to some of the others I saw in my search on here. I looked at others that were a little over half the price of this one but the quality wasn’t there IMO! You are paying for quality here, which is exactly the word I would use to describe this beautiful set! It's heavy solid wood, you don’t have to worry if it’s going to bow, or the wood split etc. while relaxing on the benches. The 2 benches open up to lots of storage space which is so convenient! It also saves space if you have a small nook area like mine, instead of chairs out in the middle of the room, just slide the bench completely under the table. I also love the look of the dark wood against the bright white. You get what you pay for as the saying goes…..It’s well worth it to invest in quality and fine workmanship for your money! Put everything together, pull the table top out last to find its damaged. I’m bummed. I Immediately sent a message to the seller who responded that they’d initiate a replacement. I only want the top replaced since it’s all together. It’s been 6 days and no update. I must have clicked a button to initiate a return but I am not returning it, too heavy for me. I put the dented side on the inside to try and hide it. Hopefully I’ll hear something soon and they can send me a new tabletop. Otherwise, it’s beautiful and I am in love with it! 7 week update. There’s a smell 7 weeks later. I’ve left the windows open, used fragrance warmers and fans and it still has a smell. My eyes often burn and I wonder what could they have used and hoping there’s nothing dangerous to it. From ordering to delivery was about 16 days. The delivery company was top notch with contacting you for delivery. They brought it inside, not such petite delicate flower handling but good. 4 boxes marked clear enough to show contents of each. I started with the table, then small bench. The second I cut the package tape my eyes started burning. This only lasted a few hours. This is the easiest furniture I’ve ever assembled. Table was 5 pieces and 12 bolts. The bench was 4 or 5 pieces and bolts. Then I started on small main seat, which was in one box and realized the two end pieces were opposite the orientation I wanted after assembly, of which I immediately took apart. Only about 20 minutes to assemble and take apart. I was going to stop there and continue the next day but now, I had to open the other box to see if the other two end pieces would be the orientation I wanted. Yes it was. All the top surfaces were in excellent condition. I was worried because I saw some complaints about the surfaces being damaged. Mine was not. There were a couple of marks on the white surfaces that I believe were intentional because it was in the same location on two of the connecting pieces. It looks great and I’m looking forward to finishing the decorative aspects. So, even with my pup who was dancing in the background for attention, I assembled this in a couple hours taking my time and taking breaks. I’m glad I got it. ... show more

We ordered this set to be a lovely game table for our family of six (4 teenagers and 2 adults). We needed a large table with plenty of space for all six of us to sit at comfortably. It arrived in 4 large, heavy boxes and with 3 of us assembling (1 opening boxes and removing packaging, another pre-assembling screws, and the third person coming behind with an electric screw driver) we assembled the set in it’s entirety in under an hour. The instructions were easy to follow and the packaging more than sufficient in protecting the table (which is heavy, solid, real wood) during shipment. We were quite impressed! Each bench attached to the corner seat lifts up, and both have a “slow closing” lid. We added a head chair just for seating options more than necessary space. We absolutely love it and are very happy with our purchase! And we saved $800 ordering with Pemberly through Amazon, than going with another set in a local furniture store! ... show more

Item took nearly 1 month to arrive. Once I received it I opened boxes and saw that the color was way off. The white was more cream or light yellow. Not even close to a white as shown in the picture

I have the all white set and have gotten so many compliments on it. This is a great space saver. The only issue I have with this is that it's not painted with a sealant so EVERYTHING leaves a stain. So you must be cautious with the cleaner you use as anything to harsh will remove the paint entirely. You definitely need some sort of cover or sealant for the table top. ... show more
