I thought the trays were very nice. I put together the stand, which was quite easy, but found it to not be sturdy. It rocked. It holds the trays just fine, but put against wall to be sure it stays that way. I'm experienced in putting things together, and double checked. The only thing so far that disappointed me. So I’ve been using these tray tables for a few weeks now and they work great for my needs. The finish is really nice looking and evenly applied, haven’t found any rough edges or defects yet. We like these little tray tables and love the color, but am angry that items that were clearly already damaged were included in the box. SOMEBODY had to notice these huge scuffs on the legs, yet they packed them anyway.

I expected a better quality made product for price paid. Purchased the dark espresso - walnut colored trays. The tops are a laminate with laminate strips glued around edges of tray tops where some small areas show residue (glue?) around perimeter that will not come off. The legs of the tray are inconsistent in color and tone showing white streaks on legs presenting inconsistent color tone and a very rough texture/finish to the touch. The guide on the underside of the tray which acts as a guide for the cross brace of the legs when opened, is a very thin metal rod and is supported with a small wood screw - I suspect this will bend and likely fail over time. The tray rack texture and color shows the same rough and inconsistent color tone as the tray legs, and has some small chips on the cross pieces that support the trays when trays are folded and stacked in rack for storage. I plan to return for a refund, as given price paid I expected much better quality product. This is simply NOT a good value and NOT a quality made product. ... show more
