These chairs are well made and very tight. I bought them for casual use during holidays when we need more chairs for our dinner table. They performed well and are back in the closet. What I will say, and the reason that I did not rate them a 5 stars is that they are pretty light compared to another set I have from 10 - 15 years ago. The difference in weight is very noticeable and what this means to me is that these chairs are made from much light parts than in the past.
